Democrat’s talk change, but do they mean it?

Are the Democrats trying to divide the country into the haves and have not’s? They say they want to change the course of their party. They say they want to change the course of our country. Yet, what they propose are more socialist programs that did not work in the past and they won’t work now. Again, making us ask the Democrat’s talk change, but do they mean it?

Redistribution of wealth is socialism. It didn’t work in America before, it won’t now. It doesn’t work well in other countries either. It simply takes from those who work and gives it to a class that doesn’t work. With a system like this, there is no incentive to work hard and therefore people end up lacking that feeling of accomplishment that comes along with getting ahead. We need to look more into programs that will help people go to work that are capable of working and provide them with the tools to do so. It might be something as simple as affordable daycare holding them back. Helping people to become productive is fine, giving them everything so they don’t have to be is not. The hard working people who are paying are never going to adapt to such an idea. Nor should they.

For too long, liberals have taken away the American dream. They tell the non workers it isn’t your fault that you can’t read and write. It isn’t your fault you sit around doing nothing to improve yourself. It’s the people who work and those people who want to keep what they earn. It’s the working class that is to blame. The working class oppresses you for not working. This is the liberal democratic philosophy of class warfare. The liberal socialists want the non workers to hate the people who work. The philosophy of don’t work, we will take from those who do and give it to you.

Should the hard working people in America, the ones who have made something of themselves, many times at a great cost feel guilty for working and reaping the rewards of their hard work? Should they ever feel guilty of what they have worked for and accomplished. For what they have, albeit, homes, cars etc?

We have seen time and again what happens when the government runs things. Read our recent post here at SpeakNowAmerica labeled “Is Universal Health care the answer?” We outline just how successful the government has been in the past with programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. Not even delving into how Congress has bankrupted Social Security to pay for pork and socialist programs.

Raising taxes on the hard working people of the United States, to pay for programs to support the non working people is not the answer. It offers these people no incentive to work, no goals to achieve and nothing to strive for. Instead it leaves them simply waiting for the next check to arrive in the mail. If we were to choose this route then what would the incentive be for people to work? Would it work to let them know that the harder they work, the more taxes they will have to pay?

Or, should the incentive to work hard be so that they may provide for family and improve their quality of life? There is no doubt that we need a safety net for those who cannot work, due to disability and legitimate reasons. We should go out of our way to help those who are trying to help themselves. We need to provide programs to them which will help them become proud and productive citizens. We absolutely do Not need a government that will perpetuate a non working class. It didn’t work before and it won’t now.

So ask yourself and do the research and then tell us, we know the Democrat’s talk change, but do they mean it?

Speak Now America! we want to hear from you!

It seems so much is promised in elections, I agree. Now if we could get them to adopt 25% of the promises wouldn't that make a difference?  Thanks Jackie for your comments
