Nancy Pelosi Rides In On Her Broom Again

After 5 weeks off, Congress is back in session. With the economy needing help and unemployment rising, Congress will spend all of 3 weeks doing the people’s business. Then it is off on vacation once again. Are you as impressed with their hard work and dedication as I am? After all, with the average rate of pay for a United States Senator at $165,200.00 we surely cannot expect them to work the same hours as us average citizens do we? However, I do wonder when the Democrat controlled House and Senate find time to serve the hardworking American people who they are supposed to be serving? No wonder the Democrat controlled House and Senate has the lowest ratings in Congressional history.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has ridden back in on her broom. On a daily basis Pelosi shows how little she cares about the American citizens she is supposed to serve. Gas prices are high and unemployment rising, Americans are suffering yet rather than vote up or down on offshore drilling to help Americans, Nancy Pelosi is once again not bringing it up for a vote. It was not that long ago that she shut down Congress in the middle of debate about drilling now; she just decided she was not going to allow a vote, she was going to exercise her power, regardless of what might be better for America. You and I suffer so Pelosi can attempt to get more power. In a past post on this matter we have already questioned her reasons for stone walling the offshore drilling issue.

Nancy Pelosi blames President Bush and the Republican Party for high unemployment and gas prices. Nancy Pelosi knows that a yes majority vote by Congress, on the “Drill Now” bill will definitely have an effect on the lowering of gas prices and increased employment. Those are good high paying union jobs and benefits that will come as a result of new drilling but Pelosi won’t let it come to a vote. Pelosi wants power and she wants the Democrats to win in November, so damn the suffering American. Come beg at her feet to save you, it may or may not work.

Barack Hussein Obama every day says we have had 8 consecutive months of increasing unemployment. Obama’s speeches go on and on about unemployment and how evil the Republicans are. Yet, Barack Hussein Obama have you just once said to the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi get off your broom? Have you ever told her to let the House vote up or down on offshore drilling? NO. Barack Hussein Obama like Nancy Pelosi wants you and me to suffer because that is a part of their political strategy. Make them suffer then they will vote for us. Obama, Pelosi, and the rest of the liberal socialists want you to suffer so they have the power they want over you. They are all about power.

One of the biggest reasons why Nancy Pelosi, Barack Hussein Obama, and the rest of the liberal socialists don’t want a clean offshore drilling bill to come to a vote yet is they know it would pass. The liberal socialists know if the bill passes that will mean gas prices go down and employment goes up and the economy will show more proof of recovery. The Democrats can’t have the people thinking that! They need to keep you down so they can control your vote!

The only bill Nancy Pelosi and the other liberal socialist Democrats will let come up for vote will be one riddled with pork and regulations to make it fail. They are taking their time writing up a new version of the bill to make sure it is worded in a way that the Republicans won’t vote for it. Then when the Democrats pass it, they know President Bush will have to veto it. Then exactly as planned, Pelosi and the rest of the liberal socialists will ride their brooms on to their next vacation and blame the Republicans and President Bush.

Let Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Barack Hussein Obama, and the rest of the liberal socialists know, that you America won’t stand for it. Demand a straight up or down vote NOW on offshore drilling. Put the liberal socialists feet to the fire. Contact them today and demand they work in your best interests, demand they work for the money we pay them each year!
