Vice Presidential Debate Gov. Palin, “Ah, say it ain’t so, Joe”
Joe Biden Uses The Same Old, Tiring, Liberal, Socialist, Lying, Political, Tactics.
Gov. Palin summed up the debate with this, “Ah, say it ain’t so, Joe. “There you go again, pointing backwards again, though. You prefaced your whole comment with the Bush Administration.” “Now, doggone it, let’s look ahead and tell Americans what we plan to do for them in the future.”
If you believe all the liberal socialist press you were surprised by the Vice Presidential Debate last evening. Gov. Palin showed she is articulate and knowledgeable. In an arena where the likes of CBS and Katie Couric can’t edit her words in an attempt to discredit her as they did in the interview with her she proved herself well. There was no Charlie Gibson of ABC looking down at her like she didn’t know what she was talking about. Speaking of Charlie, one thing to point out is ………..Charlie Gibson tried hard, we know that but his attempt in trying to make her stumble when he asked about the Bush Doctrine failed. Gov. Palin answered correctly that there were so many interpretations he would have to be more specific. Charlie couldn’t and he left it at that so it would look as if she could not answer, when in fact, it was he who was off kilter in referring to the Bush Doctrine. He referred to an outdated version when more recent ones had been written. Sorry, Charlie! Your attempted “Gotcha” failed badly.
What I saw in the debate was a fresh responsive Gov. Palin and Sen. Joe Biden played with the same old tired, liberal, socialist, lying, politics. It would be so refreshing to see the liberal socialist Barack Hussein Obama, Joe Biden, and their press tell the truth for a change and not distort facts and history as they do.
Joe Biden is so accomplished at lying that he was able to stand at that podium lying over and over again with a straight face. In debates with Barack Hussein Obama, in his short lived Presidential run, Biden said the same things Gov. Palin and Sen. McCain are saying now about Obama. As we have come to expect with liberal socialists, you can play them recordings of what they have said and they deny it, and lie, as Biden did in the debate.
The liberal socialist Biden said in response to several questions that Sen. McCain supports a $4 billion tax cut for Exxon and other oil companies. Of course it was a lie. This is a good time to point out a few things to Joe. Joe, Sen. McCain supports tax cuts for businesses. I know you and the rest of the liberal socialists don’t understand basic economics, but we Americans buy the products and the services of the businesses you want to place higher taxes on. Which in turn, Joe, causes us Americans to pay increased prices on these products or services because you raised their taxes. Are you able to comprehend this? Simply put, when you raise business taxes you hurt consumers, not businesses.
Joe, I won’t defend the oil companies. I will tell the truth that seems to evade you. Oil Company’s return on investment is less than 10%. Liberal socialists like you Joe Biden, dump investments in your portfolio with that low of a return. Also, you propose a windfall tax on oil companies. Not to be redundant Joe, but again businesses don’t pay the taxes, they are passed on to hard working Americans. This is a capitalist society and businesses that make profits, grow bigger and hire more people.
Sen. Biden confirmed during the debate an Obama/Biden talking point on health insurance. He stated that Sen. McCain proposes giving a $5,000 tax credit that goes straight to insurance companies. Duh! Joe, the tax credit is to pay for health insurance why would it surprise you that it is paid to the insurance company? Who would you give the insurance premiums to Joe? Doesn’t it make sense to avoid fraud and insure that people get covered that the money be paid direct? Have you listened when John McCain has promised that he is going to clean up Washington? Joe, are you aware of the amount of fraud in the Medicare program? I believe it hovers around $60 Billion dollars. I give McCain credit for having the oversight into making his healthcare plan successful. Of course, you liberal socialists would never think this way, you are happy to give away our money to the non workers and the non productive and not worry about the fraud that runs through our social programs.
I suppose you think that the money McCain proposes for healthcare should be paid to some liberal socialist program? Or, perhaps it should go for the liberal socialist plan you and Obama propose of curing world poverty with American tax dollars? Aren’t the two of you the charitable ones, with other people’s money! You Joe and Obama don’t give to charities and millionaire Obama doesn’t even help his poverty stricken grandmother and brother. If we are to follow your example, we will not be very charitable to your causes then.
Obama/Biden wants the government to run health care. America has the greatest health care system in the world. You want to destroy it, like the government does everything it touches. Liberal socialist philosophy has never worked and it won’t now. And Joe, maybe I’m cruel, maybe you will call me unpatriotic but NO I don’t want my tax dollars paying for illegal immigrants’ health care. Nor as you and the liberal Socialist Barack Hussein Obama propose, do I want to bankrupt social security giving the same illegal immigrants MY social security benefits.
Joe, I know you and Obama don’t understand how the free enterprise system works, only socialism. I think though your constant distortions and lies about Sen. McCain are getting ridiculous. Take for instance the deregulation of health care which you made a big point of last evening, Sen. McCain has said that people should be allowed to buy health insurance across state lines. “Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide MORE CHOICES of innovative products that are less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation.” McCain stands for Free enterprise NOT Obama/Biden socialism. Oh and Joe, one more important point. Sen. McCain’s plan calls for a credit of up to $5000.00 and if a couple for instance is able to find it cheaper, then the remainder will be placed in a health savings account for them. Imagine that, rewarding people for being frugal and responsible, what a concept!
