Where Will President Elect Obama Stand On These & Other Important Issues ?
Now is the time for President elect Barack Hussein Obama to clearly tell America where he stands on defense, health care, taxes, education and other important issues. We have listened to Obama’s speeches for 2 years. We have also heard his remarks when he didn’t know he was being recorded. America now deserves President elect Obama to be honest with his stand on these issues. The campaign double speak is now over.
While President elect Obama is at it there are many other issues America deserves truthful responses as to where he stands. Important issues such as the First and Second Amendments need to be discussed by Obama truthfully. These are important issues in our free society.
The socialists Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Franks, and others have been very vocal. In these economic times they have talked about tax increases and they have talked about cutting defense by 25%. Someone needs to remind Pelosi, Reid, Franks, and their friends that there are people who want to annihilate America. Our destruction is their main objective. President-Elect Obama, we need a strong defense.
This group has also been very vocal on health care. No one wants people to go without good health care however, the numbers President elect Obama, socialists Pelosi, Reid, and Franks have used during the campaign when referring to those who do not have health care included millions of illegal aliens. I may be selfish but, America has too many problems of our own, to deal with the health care of illegal aliens, let their home country deal with their health problems. To nationalize our health care would take us from having the best health care in the world to bad health care; we hope this is given very serious thought.
America there are many issues we need to know where president elect Obama stands. What Obama plans to do about these issues? Not political speak; honest answers to honest concerns.

There are two areas that we conservatives need to address: media and education.
We know that the MSM has been a powerful tool for the Left for a long time. It does no good to complain, while still giving them our money. When we watch Liberal news TV, Liberal propaganda movies and TV programs, or read their newspapers and magazines, we are giving them the means to continue propagandizing and indoctrinating. I suggest that all conservatives avoid all of these media completely. Don't turn to their channels. Their ratings will go down, their advertising revenues will dry up, and they will be forced to change. I can't predict what that change will be, but they will change. They want change, let's give it to them. We are no longer their captive audience.
Education is the second area where we as conservatives need to find ways to break free of the devastating effects of Liberal and radical brain-washing. Our children have been indoctrinated with the concepts and corrupt values of the Left for years. I think this helps to explain the massive appeal of the Obama campaign on our younger people. He echoes what educators have been pushing constantly and daily. Conservative families need to either home-school their children, or join together and establish alternate schools that teach Conservative principles. Much has already been done in these areas, but much more needs to be done. We need to break the power of the Teachers Union over our young people. Remember that in the government run schools, it is William Ayers who sets the agenda. That should wake us up.
There is something we can do about the radicalizing of our nation, but it must begin at the grassroots -- with individual choices and actions. There are no courts, government agencies, or law enforcement entities that will do it for us.

So well said! NoDOz, if we don't do something ourselves there is no chance for change. We cannot rely on government, MSM or anyone else to protect our rights and get the word out. We need to grow, the grass roots movement needs to keep rolling, our actions have to speak even louder than our words.
We are here to unite conservatives and become a stronger voice.
