GOP Staffers Lynch Sarah Palin
The Very People Who Sold Us Gov.Palin Now Denounce Her
For one minute, assume that the vicious rumors going around about Sarah Palin were true, would you think it reflects badly on those who vetted her and told Sen. John McCain and the American public she was the one to call his VP running mate or Sarah Palin?
You wouldn't have to be a rocket scientist to answer that question. Nasty and false accusations following a defeat say more about the person who made them than they do about Governor Palin. The "anonymous" campaign staffers have decided that rather than admit their inadequacy of the campaign they ran and learn from the mistakes they have decided to try to blame Sarah Palin. If it was not so pathetic it might even be funny when you hear some of the claims.
One of those anonymous reports was of Sarah Palin answering her hotel room door wrapped in a towel or bathrobe after staffers were banging on it while she was showering. How dare she not keep them waiting while she dried off, dressed and applied her makeup! Then there is the report of her family as being the "Wassahillbillies". Then we hear again "anonymous reports about her not knowing if Africa was a continent or a country, what countries were a part of NAFTA and still talking about her wardrobe.
Let us say this to the ignorant little sniveling staffers first off YOU PICKED HER! You told the American people she was ready to be one heartbeat away from the Presidency. Are you saying now, you lied? You lied to the American people?
Secondly, show your faces and give your reports or go away, you are not the least bit credible you are simply looking for a scapegoat for your many, many mistakes made in the running of Sen. McCain's campaign. Take responsibility for your own actions. You were inadequate in your job and you blew the election for Sen. McCain.
Most of us watched as Gov. Palin stomped all over this country to get the word out, she attracted huge crowds everywhere she went. She touched people, people could relate to her more than any other. She fought to defend our rights under the Second Amendment and she fought eloquently for the sanctity of life. Maybe every person didn't agree with everything she said but they believed she would bring about change because she was so far from what a deep seated Washingtonite was. She was the fresh face that Sen. McCain needed. She was tireless in her efforts, her infectious smile brought about optimism in people and she did this even when the socialist bias press was attacking her and her family. Many attacks of which were simply shameless.
Yet as she has in the past Gov. Palin is not defensive against these attacks, with a smile she responded:
"It's ridiculous," she told reporters. "You guys report based on anonymous sources, so it's hard to have a defense." "This is Barack Obama's time right now, and this is an historic moment in our nation and this can be a shining moment for America and our history, and look what we're talking about. Again, we're talking about my shoes and belts and skirts. It's ridiculous."
She continued to say:
"I have absolutely no intention of engaging in any of the negativity, because this has been all positive for me, for what I believe in, the values that I represent and the progress that I want to see America be able to make."
America, this is what class is, being able to be attacked at every corner and still hold your head high and not bow to the level of your attackers. Gov. Palin is far from "dumb and ill prepared" as some have tried to portray her. She is known as a very intelligent woman, we have seen in her speeches how she gets the word out and makes people feel like she is one of them.
In response to the allegations that she was ill-prepared for interviews and debate,
Randy Scheunemann, an aide assigned to Palin during the campaign, called her "brilliant" and said she has a "photographic memory."
It is this very aide that has since been fired over the allegations of leaking things to the press about Gov. Palin and other staffers. One down, there are more to go!
We have not seen the last of Gov. Sarah Palin, we predict she will be in the spotlight again in the future. She will go back to her home state of Alaska and they will benefit once again, from the leader she is and to those who want to judge her and make anonymous attacks we say, "You haven't seen anything yet" when it comes to Sarah Palin, she will be back better than ever!
For now, might we suggest that the Republican Party pull together and get back to the values of what a true conservative is. They need to unite! This cannot be done until the party rids itself of any factions that are attempting to take over and derail the party of its conservative values. Stop the virus now! Once the Republican party has rid itself of this and gets back to the values that made the Republican Party great they will begin to get reseated in the House and Congress and get back to representing the great people of America!
America, send us your messages for the Republican party, your ideas to make it the great party it once was, again. Send comments to YourVoice@speaknowamerica.org

"For now, might we suggest that the Republican Party pull together and get back to the values of what a true conservative is."
I agree with that statement in principle, however before we can get back to conservative values, we must define and agree on those values. The range and details of "conservative values" have changed considerably over my adult lifetime. It seems that conservativism has moved more and more to the liberal positions, and the liberal values have become more and more radical. I would like to see some definitive discussion of the conservatism we should agree about.
