Winning The War With Radical Liberalism

Conservatives are, by nature and temperament, generally peaceful people.  We are not constantly planning and scheming ways to disrupt, divide, anger, and throw our ideological opponents off balance.  We do not look for confrontational tactics to turn an accusation against us back on the accuser.  Conservatives are not loud and proud and verbally and physically aggressive when we discuss disagreements and issues with other people.  We are not constantly trying to push our agenda forward at all cost to ourselves and others.  Conservatives have jobs, families, church and civic responsibilities, and we want to live in peace and enjoy life. 

Conservatives are not going through every day feeling deprived, neglected, or entitled to anything we do not earn.  We are generally generous and helpful to people in need.  However, conservatives do not like non-productive, covetous whiners who feel entitled to what we earn.  Conservatives certainly do not like government siding with the whiners, and forcing us to give them our money, but I do not intend to assemble a mob of demonstrators and go into section 8 housing areas and shout and scream and carry signs protesting what they are doing.  I think that if we did that, gun battles would ensue, and we conservatives would be blamed for the riots.

Radical Liberalism, by its basic characteristics, is aggressive and militant.  It is unfettered by any set of logical principles.  It needs no factual basis, and recognizes no laws contrary to its purposes, and since the aggressor always sets the rules of engagement, we are forced to either fight on their terms, or not fight at all.  Generally, Conservatives choose not to fight on their terms, but rather choose to use reason, logic, and persuasion to advance our views and principles.  Since Radical Liberals cannot discuss things reasonably, we always feel that we are losing the argument to an unworthy opponent.  But, are we conservatives losing the argument for sane and sensible values?

What are the stakes in this conflict of ideas and principles?  On one hand is our abandonment of truth, principles, integrity, and reason, and using the tactics of the Socialist Democratic Radical Liberals, which would lead to two unreasonable parties in mortal combat to the death – death of ourselves, our self-respect, and our culture.  On the other hand is the specter of being beaten into submission; being forever marginalized; watching the inevitable decay and demise of justice, reason, and sanity, and perhaps facing persecution or death, or both.  Neither option appears to be desirable, but we conservatives must choose one or the other.  Some will say that we can take the middle road, and simply remain neutral, but neutrality only weakens the cause of Conservatives, and proportionally strengthens the Liberal Radicals.  We must speak out when it is appropriate, or surrender our ground to the Socialist Democratic Liberal Radicals.  For me, the choice is clear.  I must maintain my religious, spiritual, moral, ethical, and social principles, regardless of the outcome.  To do otherwise would be to lose the battle for Conservative values, and to also lose the battle for personal integrity and self-respect.  That is a lose, lose outcome.  I would rather die with my self-respect intact than to relinquish it in a futile battle to save our nation from the inevitable decline and fall that is coming.

Conservative countrymen: Stand up and speak out for God, truth, liberty, and honor.  We may have already lost the battle for the soul of our nation, but we can individually win the war for our souls.
