Socialist Democrats No Pay Off To UAW

Last week SpeakNowAmerica.org asked you to email your Congressmen and Senators.  We emailed ours.  Here is the reply I received from Sen. Bill Nelson D-FL. 
“In my judgment, the Big Three auto makers have arrived at this point through their own poor management. The fact that so many American manufacturing jobs are at risk is the only reason these companies deserve any taxpayer assistance. In order to avoid digging ourselves into a deeper economic hole, we must take action. But we cannot simply have another bailout. Any assistance from the government must come in the form of a loan with significant strings attached to force these companies to restructure the way they do business.

First, we must insist that the Big Three increase their average fuel economy to 50 miles per gallon by 2020. Automakers must also increase production of flex-fuel, electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Foreign car companies have been building fuel efficient cars for years, and now in this era of volatile gas prices, the American manufacturers find themselves at a disadvantage.

We must place limits on executive compensation and eliminate golden parachutes. Finally, we must insist that these companies replace their senior management. We need new leadership and fresh ideas to get us out of this mess.”
America this response is exactly why we don’t want Washington involved with the auto makers.  This socialist babbles about how good foreign auto makers are.  How if he gives the automakers your money they have to increase gas mileage and more importantly make the little electric cars the socialist Democrats want you to drive. 

That auto maker management must be replaced.  Nothing in this socialist diatribe mentions the UAW contracts that strangle American auto makers.
The number of units i.e. cars sold by American auto makers is much higher than the number of cars sold by foreign manufacturers.  So much for the statement about auto makers not making what Americans want.   The auto makers lose money on the cars Washington i.e. and the socialist Democrats force them to sell.  They make money on the trucks, mini vans, and SUVs’ they sell and lose money on the small cars they have to sell to meet CAFÉ standards.  Also the foreign auto makers average wage and benefits cost is $45 hour.  The American auto makers pay wages and benefits to UAW workers is over $78 hour.

Socialist Democrats owe the UAW.  The socialist Democrats want to pay off the UAW with your tax money.   America say NO to the socialist Democrats pay off to the UAW.  The socialist Democrats want to run the American auto makers and tell YOU what you can drive.

Right now the Republican Senators are blocking this auto maker bailout.  The Republican Senators know this bailout won’t work and the auto makers will be back for more of YOUR money.  Republican Senators hold your ground and stop the auto maker bailout.  Help today.  Email your Senators NOW!!!
