UAW Renegs on Concessions For Big 3 Auto Maker Bailout
UAW Plans to Renegotiate With Socialist Democrats
President Bush gave automakers a bailout, there were conditions. The bailout agreement said UAW wages and benefits had to fall in line with other auto workers in America, the UAW agreed. Now, Ron Gettelfinger, president of the United Auto Workers is already saying no to any concessions. The American taxpayer be damned, he won’t concede anything. Ron Gettelfinger wants you and me to suffer more so UAW can do as they please.
From Day one SpeakNowAmerica.org has been against an auto maker bailout. We took this stand for several reasons. First and foremost, because American taxpayers can’t afford it, we simply cannot afford having socialists Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, and the other socialist Democrats run the Big 3 auto makers. They have caused the economic crisis and we don’t need them destroying anything else. Do you really want socialist Pelosi, Reid, and Frank deciding what you can drive?
We are also against the Big 3 auto maker bailout because of the UAW. For more years than I can remember we have paid more for auto’s than we should because of the UAW stranglehold over auto makers. The auto maker management is to blame also. The UAW wanted more, management gave them what they wanted, and America paid the bill with higher auto prices. Enough is enough and America can’t afford to let the UAW run the Big 3 auto makers any more.
The concessions asked for amount to equity in pay and benefits. It costs the Big 3 auto makers over $75 an hour in wages and benefits for UAW labor. Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and the other automakers pay about $45 an hour in wages and benefits for autos they make in America. America every time you buy from the Big 3 automakers you are paying this $30 per man hour theft. The UAW is stealing from hard working Americans.
Gettelfinger said that what is being asked of the autoworkers is “unrealistic.” He has said he wants to work with President-elect Barack Obama to remove the wage provision. Gettelfinger like the socialist Democrats doesn’t care how America suffers. Gettelfinger knows that socialist Barack Hussein Obama and the socialist Democrats owe him and the UAW. Payback is on the backs of American taxpayers.
America help stop the destruction of America. Help stop the bailout mania. We the American taxpayer cannot afford more.
