Tax Evader Timothy Geithner Best For Head Of Treasury / IRS?
Obama More Change / Transparency Showing NO Ethics / Morality
America are we really to believe the best person to head the US Treasury / IRS is a tax evader? Timothy Geithner is Socialist Obama’s pick to be in charge of America’s economic recovery and head the IRS. The problem is Geithner knowingly evaded taxes until his nomination.
Socialist Barack Hussein Obama has given speech after speech on change. Obama talks of transparency in his administration. So far America all we have seen is a lack of ethics and morality coming from Obama or his chosen people. President Elect Obama knew before he nominated Geithner that he was a tax evader but socialist Obama nominated Geithner anyway and remained quiet about the tax evasion. Obama has been part of a cover up in keeping information from America about a tax evader.
Obama’s team has known about the tax problems for at least six weeks, waging a behind-the-scenes campaign to push him through the Senate Finance Committee, despite the tax evasion on his record, according to documents from the committee. Obama’s choice to oversee the IRS cheated on his own tax returns – some of which he had personally prepared – to the tune of $42,700 in back taxes and penalties. "At the end of the day, Barack decided that he was the best person for a really important job," a close source said.
The Senate Finance Committee has known about Geithner’s tax problems since Dec. 5. Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus says Geithner made a “serious mistake” but adds that the allegations are not enough to “disqualify” Geithner from consideration. "I believe that these errors, although serious, do not rise to the level of disqualification, Baucus said. “He's an extremely competent man. The errors were, in my judgment, honest mistakes ... The country needs a Treasury secretary quickly given the economic straits were in. In my judgment, these errors, although serious, were corrected immediately and do not rise to the level of disqualification. I hope very much that Mr. Geithner can be confirmed quickly before the president-elect is inaugurated."
The President-Elect chose Tim Geithner to be his Treasury Secretary because he's the right person to help lead our economic recovery during these challenging times,” incoming White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said. “He's dedicated his career to our country and served with honor, intelligence and distinction. That service should not be tarnished by honest mistakes, which, upon learning of them, he quickly addressed. He made a common mistake on his taxes, and was unaware that his part-time housekeeper's work authorization expired for the last three months of her employment. We hope that the Senate will confirm him with strong bipartisan support so that he can begin the important work of the country.”
The Senate Finance Committee notes that Geithner failed to pay his Social Security taxes while employed at IMF from 2001 to 2003 – even though he was provided documents that explained that he was required to do so. In addition, Geithner included payments to overnight camps in calculating his dependent child care credit in 2001, 2004 and 2005. His accountant informed him in 2006 the camps were not allowable expenses. The committee notes that Geithner did not file amended returns to fix the mistake.
Socialist Obama knew Geithner had evaded taxes and had an undocumented housekeeper that he didn’t pay taxes for. Geithner paid the balance of owed taxes just days before his nomination although he knew for years that he owed them. Is Geithner really be the best choice to head Treasury / IRS? America keeps seeing more and more that socialist Obama’s change and transparency really means no ethics or morality.
