Obama Redistribution Of Bailout Money

President elect Barack Hussein Obama can’t wait to get your money.  Every day the amount socialist Obama wants grows.  Now though before his inauguration Obama wants the remaining TARP money.  Obama plans to use the bailout money in a huge redistribution plan of his.

The TARP bailout money is supposed to keep our financial institutions from failing.  No one will dispute that to this point the financial market hasn’t collapsed.  Many of us though question exactly where that money has gone and how it’s been used.  To hard working taxpayers $350 billion is a tremendous amount of money.  We need to demand better controls and transparency as to how that money has been used.  No more giving it to the Big 3 automakers and making banks out of non banks to give them money.

Now socialist Obama is trying to throw his weight around.  If Congress doesn’t vote to release the money he is threatening a veto.  My question there is how does he veto Congress not appropriating money?  Even the Savior socialist Obama can’t spend money Congress doesn’t appropriate.

In the House, Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank, D-Mass., said Summers assured him that Obama would commit a significant portion of the bailout money to foreclosure relief.  The House on Thursday was scheduled to vote on Frank legislation that would place broad restrictions on the bailout program. One major provision would require that the new administration spend between $40 billion and $100 billion on reducing the number of foreclosures.

We don’t want to see anyone lose their home.  That being said, you don’t take money from hard working people who didn’t buy over their head or take out risky loans without fixed rates  to cover those that did.  The socialist Democrats forced lenders to make subprime loans and now expect you and me to pay for it. 

The TARP bailout money legislation was passed to keep the banking institutions solvent.  Not to pay mortgages for individuals who made mistakes.  Taxpayers’ paying those mortgages is redistribution, it is socialism.  America is NOT a socialist country although the socialist Obama and Democrats will do all they can to make America socialist.
