Socialist Obama Defends Tax Evasion As More Information Turns Up
Timothy Geithner knew he owed back taxes. The total was over $42,000. Geithner didn't pay $26,000 of his past due taxes until November when he was being nominated for Secretary of Treasury / IRS. What was Geithner as a tax evader doing at the Federal Reserve Bank?
President elect Barack Hussein Obama says tax evasion by Timothy Geithner was an honest mistake. Socialist Obama is defending Geithner for Secretary of Treasury / IRS as more information shows Geithner knowingly didn’t pay taxes. We now know the IMF each quarter gives employees a statement of earnings with their estimated taxes owed. Further the IMF gives each employee a booklet explaining they have to pay their own quarterly estimated taxes. We also know now that IMF pays up for employees. This means if IMF hires you and they tell you that you will earn $1,000, that IMF pays you the $1,000 plus whatever it would take after taxes for you to have the $1,000. IMF pays you the $1,000 plus enough to cover taxes.
The Finance Committee notes that Geithner failed to pay his Social Security taxes while employed at IMF from 2001 to 2003 – even though he was provided documents that explained that he was required to do so. In addition, Geithner included payments to overnight camps in calculating his dependent child care credit in 2001, 2004 and 2005. His accountant informed him in 2006 the camps were not allowable expenses. The committee notes that Geithner did not file amended returns to fix the mistake. Despite that, the source familiar with Geithner's vetting made clear the Treasury pick still has Obama's blessing.
Socialist Obama's choice of Geithner also involves another issue that has eliminated Cabinet picks before; his former housekeeper’s immigration status lapsed briefly while she was in his employ. Linda Chavez was crucified by both the socialist Democrats and main stream media for having an undocumented employee. Why aren’t the socialist Democrats and main stream media crucifying Geithner?
Obama’s team calls them “honest mistakes.” and in the end, Geithner had the only supporter that mattered – Obama himself. One source familiar with Geithner’s vetting says Obama knew about Geithner’s tax problems and decided to push ahead with the nomination anyway because he “still wanted him." Makes the Rev. Wright, Tony Rezko, Bill Ayers associations all make sense now, it didn’t matter what they did in the past, Obama liked them for his own reasons and therefore it was acceptable and needed no explanation, Geithner is just added to the list. We can expect that list will grow over the next four years.

I received this email and it speaks volumes. Timothy Geithner is not a man of HONOR. I am sure that he is not the only man for the job. I bet you that a regular Joe, would have not had the same treatment from the IRS. What's going on with this country? You don't have to be accountable for your actions?
