Economic Stimulus Package Is Socialism It Will Do Nothing To Help Economy
America has seen $350 billion wasted in part one of last summer’s economic stimulus package. The $350 billion has not helped the economy. The Senate led by socialist Reid released another $350 billion last week. President elect Obama has already said part will be used in socialist fashion paying home loans for those who aren’t paying theirs. If you made a prudent home loan and you make your payments you are going to be penalized to make house payments for those who weren’t prudent and don’t pay their mortgages.
Socialist Pelosi, Reid, and Obama the $850 billion economic stimulus package is a fraud. This $850 billion economic stimulus package is pure socialism and will do nothing to help the economy. Add the $700 billion already appropriated and we have a $1.550 trillion economic stimulus package that will do nothing to help the economy. It is going to simply serve to put you and I deeper in debt and make no new jobs.
This plan calls for $126 billion for health care which is step one in socialization of a nation and which will result in destroying the best health care in the world. Then they will use additional money to computerize your health records. How do these two things stimulate the economy? They don’t, but they give the socialist more control over you.
Also in the stimulus package is $600 million for new cars for the federal government. Another $1 billion to “minimize undercounting minorities” in the 2010 census. $400 million to NASA to promote socialist view of global warming, which we know more and more scientists say is false. $400 million for “national treasures.” $166 billion in direct aid to states that have overspent. Another $650 million for digital TV conversion that the federal government has demanded. Again, nothing that is going to stimulate the economy.
This $850 billion stimulus package increases money for food stamps and Pell Grants. More socialism for America. $32 billion to upgrade the nation’s electrical distribution system that we already pay for every month in our electric bill. Earmarked are untold billions to make low income housing, federal buildings, and “modest income” homes energy efficient. Billions more will go for government feel good jobs that don’t help the economy. Neither the federal government nor any government ever makes money for the economy. Quite the opposite, they drain and slow the economy.
Socialists think the New Deal programs which were instituted by their hero Franklin Delano Roosevelt saved America from the Great Depression. Socialists Democrats say government spending gave Americans jobs and boosted the economy. However, unemployment data from the 1930s remained above 20% despite New Deal spending. Socialist democrats criticized the data arguing it didn't account for the entire workforce. Even when prisoners, government relief workers and the institutionalized are accounted for, unemployment follows the same pattern and remains much higher than the normal unemployment rate of 5.5%.
Conservative Republicans don't shy away from this fight. Government spending will not revive the economy. Only, money in the hands of working Americans and business will stem this economic crisis. Socialist programs have worked nowhere in the world and they won’t work in America.
