Socialists Obama & Frank you cannot call this stimulus, this is pork. Your objective is to grow the socialist Democratic Party and has nothing to do with helping the American economy. In a total of $825 billion only 12% can remotely be called economic stimulus.
America 88% of the socialist Democrat economic package is pork. The socialist Democrats are putting every man, woman, and child in debt for $3,300 and 88% of that is pork. Only $399 of the $3,300 debt will be to help our economy. Socialist Obama and the Democrats will use the other $2,900 for socialist pork.

Yet this stimulus pork package gives the NEA $142 billion to corrupt your children and teach them not to worry, the government will take care of them. Teach them you don’t need to learn to read, write and do arithmetic because the government will always take care of you.
The tax cuts for hard working middle income Americans is $145 billion. That is just $3 billion more than they are going to give the NEA and public education to corrupt and not teach your children. The socialist Democrats and elitists will send their children to private schools where they’ll get an education but the socialists prefer to rule you as uneducated peons to do as they tell you and your children.
The socialist Democrats economic pork stimulus package will cost over $217,000 for each job it creates and they will only be temporary jobs. For them to be permanent jobs then the socialists Democrats will have to have more money. The government doesn’t make money it takes money. Give a small business $217,000 and you will get more than 1 job and these jobs will be a permanent.

After reading the 'stimulus' report, I sent the following to my State Senators:
I ask that you vote against H.R. 1 when it comes to the Senate. While
immoral for us to leave such a massive debt for our great-grandchildren to
pay, it is even more incredible that our leaders (i.e., you!) would even
consider much of this fiscally irresponsible mess.
Unions need bailing out? nope.. they need ousting
STDs are our fiscal responsibility? nope... they are the responsibility of
the sexually irresponsible
Banks need more money? nope.. they need accountability
Auto makers need baling out? nope... see banks, preceding
ACORN needs money... nope, they need to be prosecuted and disbanded
Hollywood needs millions? nope, they need to understand how to be
financially responsible and tighten their belts when necessary... just
like I do every time I go to the grocery or shops
Smokers need money to help them quit? nope, they need personal willpower
and accountability
83 BILLION for earned income credit for non-taxpayers... this has
surpassed ludicrosity and stretched to insanity
You were elected to represent your constituency - that's me and millions
of other Texans - and I am asking you to do what you are there to do.
Stop the madness and say no to H.R.1...

Thanks! I will surely use it for mine as well. I can't even believe anyone would consider this package but I know they will. They will roll over at the mention of jobs creation even as temporary as they may be. Some will close their eyes to the pork. I hope that they will wake up now before we are so far in debt it will be like quicksand trying to get out of this mess. Thanks Authoress for a great template!

Another template to use when writing your Senators or talking points if you call: (wrote this to mine today - my 3rd email to them both in a week... probably tired of seeing my e-dress!)
I am writing to express my resounding opposition to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (S.1) and urge you to vote against this so-called "economic stimulus" bill.
Adding nearly $900 billion in government spending to the $1.2 trillion federal deficit already projected for this year will only pile additional debt onto the shoulders of my children and grandchildren. This massive government spending spree will not stimulate economic growth. In fact, your own nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office has concluded that more than half of the hundreds of billions of dollars in infrastructure spending contained in the bill will not take place for more than two years -- long after economists predict, and we all hope, the current recession will have ended. With less than 8% of the budget POSSIBLY being allocated to creating new jobs - and the money so critically needed by small businesses and those who CAN stimulate the economy - this is but another early warning alarm of Obama's true agenda: destroy America and sell it to the highest bidder.
Can you stand proud if you promote such destruction? What do you want history to say about YOUR watch? What do you want GOD to say to you on His Day of Judgment concerning the talents and opportunities He placed in your keeping? You will answer to Him for these things; His promises are always fulfilled.
I urge you instead to create more incentives and opportunities for private-sector jobs and growth by cutting government spending and enacting across-the-board tax cuts for individuals and businesses, like those that helped reverse economic slumps in the 1960s, 1980s, and earlier this decade. By contrast, the tax cuts in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act are narrowly targeted, with the largest portion going to more rebate checks, which failed miserably to reverse our economy's slide last year.
If passed as currently proposed, I fear this borrow-and-spend "stimulus" bill will waste record amounts of tax dollars, provide virtually no benefit to the economy, and only add to our nation's soaring liabilities, ultimately allowing Obama's administration to hang the 'sold' sign on America and destroy this nation I have so loved for so long. Please vote NO on S.1.
