Socialism Wins Taxpayers Lose
In the stimulus bill passed by the socialist Democrats the taxpayer is shorted. The one place money could help is the one where the socialist didn’t put much. As usual with the socialist Democrats working people lose and those who don’t work win.
This stimulus bill is another case of socialism wins and taxpayers lose. Some of the things in the stimulus bill may be good for some people but it does nothing to stimulate the economy. This is really a spending bill and not a stimulus bill. It has items in it that the socialists have wanted for years. They saw a chance to turn America socialist and they took it. The economy won’t get better but the socialists have more of their takeover of America in place.
Millions of workers can expect to see about $13 extra in their weekly paychecks, starting around June, from a new $400 tax credit to be doled out through the rest of the year. Couples would get up to $800. In 2010, the credit would be about $7.70 a week, if it is spread over the entire year. What the socialist Democrats and main stream media don’t tell America is the tax cuts under President Bush expire next year. American workers your taxes will go UP!!!
The socialists Democrats did get a socialist perk in though. The $1,000 tax credit families get for children will be extended to people who don’t pay taxes. That isn’t a stimulus, that isn’t a tax credit, that is income redistribution better known as socialism. The non workers are once again reaping the rewards from the workers.
There is money to help young people go to school. This is noble, it isn’t a stimulus again it is a spending bill. Higher education is expensive and many young people need help. But this money should be in a spending bill not a stimulus bill. The socialist will find a way to force more socialist school instruction than they do now.
There is $90 billion in the stimulus bill for infrastructure. Many highways throughout America need repairs and repaving. Out of a $790 billion stimulus bill that was supposed to rebuild America and stimulate the economy less than 15% goes to infrastructure. Not much stimulus is it? Infrastructure is long term and will do nothing in the short term to help the economy.
Add 10% of the bill to tax cuts and that means 25% of the stimulus bill is for stimulus. That means a whopping 75% of the stimulus bill is for socialist programs. That is why the bill hadn’t been printed yet and Congress voted on it. No one has even seen the complete bill and they still voted to pass it. Is that Congress working for the good of America? No, it is the socialist Democrats pushing their socialist agenda down America’s collective throat.
Forecasters expect the 2009 deficit for the budget year that began last Oct 1 to hit $1.6 trillion including new stimulus and bank-bailout spending. That's about three times last year's shortfall. The national debt, which is the sum of all annual budget deficits stands at $10.7 trillion. America that is about $36,000 for every man, woman and child in the U.S. Interest payments alone on the national debt will near $500 billion this year. Interest on the national debt is the fourth-largest federal expenditure, after Medicare-Medicaid, Social Security and Defense spending.
