Obama Will OK 9000 Pork I.E. Earmark Items In $410 Billion Omnibus Bill

"We need earmark reform," Obama said in September 2008 during a presidential debate in Oxford, Miss. "And when I'm President, I will go line by line to make sure that we are not spending money unwisely."  Last week socialist Obama signed a $787 billion non stimulus bill laden with pork.  Now though the socialist Democrats want to call them earmarks because America knows what pork is.

Now the House has passed a $410 billion omnibus bill.  This omnibus bill has 9000 pieces of pork or earmarks in it.  Obama in one of his many lies in his speech to Congress said again he will go line by line and eliminate the pork in bills.  Obama is making excuses to sign the final omnibus bill and all the pork in it.

"It will be a little embarrassing for the president if he signs a bill with that many earmarks on it," said Stan Collender, a veteran Washington budget analyst. "He'll say they're left over from the Bush years, and he has to say that next year the bill will be clean."  We are in an economic crisis and socialist Obama lies again and will be accept the pork and earmarks in this bill.

The House voted 245 to 178 to approve a $410 billion omnibus spending bill that includes $7.7 billion for approximately 9,000 earmarks, according to Taxpayers for Common Sense, a Washington-based group that tracks earmarks. The bill now goes to the Senate for consideration.  Socialist Obama can make all the excuses he wants but again he lies to America.  The omnibus bill is passed and signed under his watch and he can’t blame President Bush for the pork.

The projects, listed on more than 750 pages, include $2 million to promote astronomy in Hawaii, $1.8 million for swine odor and manure management research in Iowa and $190,000 for the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming.  The plan would provide $400,000 to combat bullying at schools in Montana, $2.2 million for the Center for Grape Genetics in Geneva, New York, and $381,000 for music programs at the Lincoln Center in New York City. 

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel a former Democratic congressman from Chicago, secured $900,000 in the omnibus bill for the city’s Adler Planetarium, $190,000 for its Children’s Memorial Research Center and $95,000 for the Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago.

It’s sad to say but 40% of the pork in this omnibus bill was put in it by Republicans.  It’s time for the Republicans to remember their conservative roots.  Fight against this pork, not add to it.  Republicans eliminate the pork and show America you can make a difference.

Socialist Obama no more lies.  No more excuses.  In your first 60 days in office you are putting America in debt for over $2 trillion.  That is over $6,600 for every man, woman, and child in America.  All of this supposed stimulus and Wall Street keeps dropping.  You can’t lie and spend your way out of this economic crisis. 

Socialist Obama the economy is now yours.  You can’t blame President Bush or the Republicans any more for an economic crisis caused by the Democrats and the socialist policies used by the Democrats.  You have had YOUR socialist bills passed and the economy still goes down, Obama it’s your economy now, own up to it.
