Carbon Tax Will Destroy American Economy

If Barack Hussein Obama’s socialist budget is passed the federal government will soon begin tapping into a huge new source of revenue by requiring companies to pay for the permission to emit so-called greenhouse gasses linked to global warming.  This is nothing but a tax on hard working Americans.  Electricity, gas, food, and everything you purchase will cost more because of this tax.

The Obama budget assumes that by 2012, the Treasury will be collecting $78.6 billion in new revenue from carbon emissions permits. From 2012 to 2019, it envisions that a total of $645.7 billion would be raised from auctioning of such emission allowances. America that is an additional $645.7 billion dollars you will be paying.

A “cap-and-trade system” would be created, under which the government would place a cap, or limit, on the total amount of greenhouse gasses that can be emitted. Companies that need to exceed their allotted level must buy offsetting permits from those that emit less.

The socialist Democrats and Obama always talk about taxing big business, penalizing big business and making big business pay.  The socialists have demonized big business to the point if someone is working for big business they hate them and blame them for all their woes.

For those Americans not sophisticated enough to understand, big business doesn’t pay taxes. The socialists aren’t making big business pay anything.  America you pay every time they raise taxes on big business.  Big business gets every dime it has from sales of their products or services from YOU. It simply passes the tax on.

This carbon tax, cap and trade costs Americans who buy products.  If it costs electric companies more to produce electricity then YOU pay as your electric bill grows higher and higher.  It’s the same with everything you buy.  This is just another deceitful way the socialist Democrats tax you under the guise of making big business pay.

All Americans want clean air and clean water.  There are ways to do that without killing the American economy.  The Global warming myth is getting old.  More and more learned scientists have shown the data is very faulty for claiming global warming.  If you look at the true data, the earth has been cooling for the last 10 years.  The global warming myth has always been a socialist move to destroy the American economy.

America we especially know in the time of economic crisis can’t afford this additional tax on everything we buy and use.  Call it carbon tax or cap and trade, the bottom line is it will destroy the American economy.  Powerful Democrats such as House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman, D-Calif., have said they would work hard to get legislation passed by this summer. This is one more example of a socialist Obama and Democrats saying Americans be damned.
