Obama Policies Are Socialist

The first six weeks have given people a glimpse of your spending priorities.  Are you a socialist as some people have suggested?  “The answer would be no,” he said, laughing for a moment before defending his administration for “making some very tough choices” on the budget.

Obama, unsurprisingly, said he wasn’t a socialist, pointing to his vow to reduce non-defense discretionary spending and suggesting that health care and energy reform hardly constitute a wild-eyed radical agenda.  Obama never returned to the question to the question after his curt no reply.  The largest deficits in history, more bills for more spending than ever in history, and destroying the best health care in the world is socialism.  Obama called the paper back to say that it was hard for him to believe that the paper’s question had been “entirely serious.”

On several occasions since the inauguration the Obama strategy appears to be attack anyone with the nerve to ask an honest question.  Without the teleprompter to guide him the socialist went on the attack.  Socialist Obama when he doesn’t want to answer for fear people will realize what he truly is attacks the questioner.  This is an attempt at intimidation of the questioner.  Also this is an attempt to stop honest questions.

“It was hard for me to believe that you were entirely serious about that socialist question,” socialist Obama said after he returned to the White House and called the news paper.  “It wasn’t under me that we started buying a bunch of shares of banks,” Obama said. “And it wasn’t on my watch that we passed a massive new entitlement, the prescription drug plan, without a source of funding.”  Obama added, “We’ve actually been operating in a way that has been entirely consistent with free-market principles, and some of the same folks who are throwing the word socialist around can’t say the same.”

What Free market principles?  Attempting to national the auto industry and banking sounds socialist.  The non stimulus pork bill written by socialist Comrade Pelosi is socialist.  Obama you backed that bill and signed it.  You bad mouth prescription drugs for the retired older people and propose giving free health care to people who can work and afford to buy their own health care insurance. 

Socialist Obama has always sought to avoid being defined by labels, presenting himself as open to ideas from the left and the right. Asked to describe his philosophy in a word, he said, “No, I’m not going to engage in that.”  That’s not avoidance it’s once again is refusing to tell the truth.  Obama’s socialist budget plan prompted criticism suggesting that he was intent on undoing the dominance of conservative ideas that started under Ronald Reagan, and that he had revealed himself as a free-spending liberal.
