Socialist Obama Military Healthcare
Obama Shafts Wounded Veterans
Socialist Barack Hussein Obama is ready to shaft wounded veterans. Obama plans to charge private medical insurance companies for medical costs incurred from injuries sustained by military men and women while serving America.
Since President Lincoln’s time in office America has taken care of her wounded veterans. Now the military hating Obama wants private insurance to pay for taking care of our wounded.
Socialist Obama has been calling Veteran groups in to talk with them. In no uncertain words Obama is telling these groups that private insurance will have to pay the costs for our wounded heroes.
Veterans have a 10% higher unemployment rate than non military. Now socialist Obama wants to make it worse. Companies can’t hire our war heroes knowing the government is going to make their health care provider pay for injuries incurred while these heroes were defending America.
Socialist Barack Hussein Obama wants health care for non workers, Socialist Obama wants health care for illegal aliens. Socialist Obama wants you to pay for the health care of illegals and those who refuse to work. Socialist Obama doesn’t care about our war heroes.
Socialist Obama says let the heroes fend for themselves. Is that because Obama calls them the murderers of woman and children? Is it because 99% of military veterans are opposed to socialist Obama and his socialist agenda?
The socialist Obama is breaking a sacred trust with our military. This is one more socialist step to weaken and destroy America. Telling our brave men and women we are taking their medical care away is immoral and unethical. The two most descriptive words for a socialist especially Obama.
America socialist Obama shafts our wounded military veterans with this health care policy. America, join with SpeakNowAmerica.org today! I'm a little confused, is not the military health care system a form of national healthcare, which capitalists oppose. It seems to me that moving from away from government backed military healthcare to a competitive privatized health care system is more capitalistic than socialistic. Actually we could take examples of poor health care that our military recieves from this nationalized system as an excellent example of why we don't won't to move toward a nationalized healthcare system. We should use Obama's own idea for privatized medical insurance for the military as an excellent arguement against any form of nationalized healthcare. Otherwise, it seems a little hypocritical to criticize him as a socialist while advocating for national healthcare for the military.

Military health care is not national healthcare. Our military is "employed" by the US. Govt and are afforded medical benefits just as other government employees are. In addition we know that the military is paid peanuts in reference to the hours they work but they do so selflessly.
It is in no way comparable to a nationalized healthcare system that Obama and the Democrats are now about to propose.

This article is hog-wash. You keep calling Obama a socialist. Do you realize that our veterans already have a socialist-like healthcare program in place, and it has been for many years. Yes - it's the veteran's healthcare. This is socialized medicine. Another thing to point out - the first person to want out-source the veteran's healthcare to the private sector was John McCain because he doesn't see why the government should continue to foot the bill for our military and wanted private companies to take over as to not continue having the government having the burden in continuing to pay the growing expense of healthcare for the military. Only ignorant Americans try to scare the less intelligent by using words such as 'socialist' and/or 'communist' to get them to fall for the lies and misconstrued facts with articles such as this.

Well Rejji,
I am willing to look at your source in regards to McCain wanting to not have the government foot the bill for our military but make it a credible source.
What you write is hogwash, first off our Veterans are NOT given health care they earn it. They are employed by the United States of America and just like our Congressmen and Senators who get health care it is part of their benefits for the position they hold. It is not socialized, it is not a give me. So nice try there.
Here is what John McCain said about privatizing the VA : (http://www.rollcall.com/issues/54_46/news/29147-1.html)
Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (Ariz.), for example, told a crowd at the annual Veterans of Foreign Wars convention in August that if elected, he would create a Veterans’ Care Access Card that would guarantee that low-income veterans and those injured during combat could receive medical care. “This card will provide those without timely access to VA facilities the option of using high-quality health care providers near their homes,” McCain said. “For many veterans, the closest VA facility isn’t close enough. And many of their local providers are already familiar with the most common needs of veterans.”
McCain later explained that the card would not replace the VA or privatize veterans’ health care. “The VA should always be there to provide top-quality care for our veterans,” he added. “And I believe that the VA should continue to provide broad-spectrum health care to eligible veterans
So where you get that he is against our veterans and doesn't think they deserve health care anymore is really far out. Drinking too much kool aid maybe?
Stop listening to the liberal rags and start researching for yourself and maybe your eyes will be opened.

CNN Article 03/10/2009
A small excerpt for you:
WASHINGTON (CNN) - Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki confirmed Tuesday that the Obama administration is considering a controversial plan to make veterans pay for treatment of service-related injuries with private insurance, but was told by lawmakers that it would be "dead on arrival" if sent to Congress.
Now you were saying??

Check your facts. This idea was proposed in March, by whom?
Don't know but as a retired Navy Captain I suspect the same career bueaucrat's that "suggested" Bush pull combat pay in the summer of '03 and make to retroactive to Jan '03. Yep Pal! Bush wanted to pull combat pay from those he sent to war.
Where is your proof that this is even still an issue? You don't have it. It's no longer being considered.
BTW: the actual proposal was to move the coverage to private insurance with the government still paying. Obama never suggested we Vets pay for our critical care.
And it was the Obama VA that killed the idea, not Congress!
Blue Side Up,
Captain Pizzaman
You can call me Charley and you don't have to salute, but you'll still have to ask "By your leave Sir" if you want to pass me!
Will wait for tha fact check and retraction.

Dear Capt. Pizzaman,
First let me say this, your pompous arrogance may have worked among the enlisted in the Navy but most of America would find it overbearing and quite frankly silly. Having said that, I gave you a very credible source in CNN which is in no way a right wing media outlet so that should have sufficed.
Instead of your admitting you made a rush to judgement you decide to pull the old and very overused "George Bush" punch, which is totally ineffective. The article did not stutter, it clearly stated " the Obama administration is looking into" That article was written I believe on or about March 10th, 2009 and we wrote our article on the 13th. We have not brought the subject up again because the administration backed down once they realized it was a very poorly received proposal.
We owe you no proof of it still being an issue as we have not stated anywhere past the original article five months ago that it was an issue. Perhaps if you read articles in a more timely manner they will make sense to you.
At SpeakNowAmerica.Org we always strive to be factual and use credible sources and as you can see five months later we were able to supply our source in a timely manner.
Your facts have been checked and a retraction is not in order.
Thanks for visiting SpeakNowAmerica.Org
PS. By all means send us your credible source regarding Bush and that combat pay as you brought it up.

I think it's time you took a reading course. The article is very pro the military. In it is how unethical the one your savior is in his suggestion of taking our military heroes health insurance coverage from them. I am and veteran and above all I respect every veteran. I know first hand that they earn their health care coverage.

Obama is bought and paid for by banks, weapon industry etc. In other words he is a corporate puppet, not a socialist, but repeat a lie often enough, and the masses will believe it.

This was a really quality post. In theory I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real effort to make a good article... but what can I say... I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.
