For Now Socialist Obama Says No On Military Health Care Agenda

Having shown complete disregard for the heroes who serve America in the military, socialist Obama and Democrats were proposing to bill private insurance companies for charges related to these heroes military service.  While willing to spend over $680 billion as a down payment on health care for those who won’t work or buy their own the socialists had decided they could get $540 billion from service men and women’s injuries.

Obama had called military groups into the Oval Office this week to tell them of this plan.  Congress was already holding hearings on this disgusting maneuver.  Never has a President or Congress been so ready to hurt the heroes serving our country.  All of this too add to the health care costs of all Americans who have private insurance.

The proposal, which was discussed in recent hearings of the Veterans Affairs committees in the House and Senate and in the House Budget Committee, would have shifted more of the cost for service related injuries from the government, through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), to the private, third-party insurance plans held by many veterans.

America we have a President that was ready to give free health care to illegal aliens and charge those injured in service to our country.  We know socialist Obama considers our service heroes the murderers of women and children, but this insurance move is despicable even for someone as unethical and immoral as Obama.

Comrade Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced on Wednesday afternoon that socialist Barack Hussein Obama is shelving a controversial proposal that would have forced the private health insurance of veterans to pay for their war- and service-related injuries.

"Our message to the President was simple and direct: that our government must not abandon its moral responsibility to the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms," said David Gorman, executive director of Disabled American Veterans.

Jim King executive director of AMVETS suggested For Obama, pressing forward would have been politically risky, because going to the insurance companies could have had the ultimate effect of curtailing veterans' health care. And doing so would have been seen as "breaking of that bond" of those who served the nation, he said.

One of our readers put it best, “I am not a veteran, but I am free because of each and every one of them.  It would be a disgrace to force our military men and women to cover their own healthcare costs.  Is this how we thank them for their service?  Is this how we're paying for Obama's "stimulus" plan??  No thank you!!”

Another reader wrote, “I cannot believe a President of the United States would even consider such a horrible thing.  These men and women are doing something that the majority of people don't have the balls to do.  They risk their lives on a daily basis, they live in horrible conditions, are taken away from their families for weeks, months, years at a time and now Obama wants to make the injured veterans pay for insurance for injuries sustained while serving???”

Socialist Obama and Democrats, America is waking up.  The lion is ready to roar.  How despicable can you be to even think of treating war heroes this way?
