Socialist Obama Laughs At Economic Crisis
On 60 Minutes Steve Kroft Asks Obama “Are You Punch Drunk?” 
Socialist Barack Hussein Obama was on 60 minutes with Steve Kroft and laughed at America’s economic crisis. It got so bad that Steve Kroft asked him, “Are you punch drunk?”
The President of the United States is laughing about the suffering of Americans. Socialist Obama helped cause this crisis and now he laughs about it. Obama has no empathy nor does he care how much America suffers. Socialist Obama has his socialist agenda and America be damned.
Socialist Obama said, “People want a lot of contradictory things. You know, the— the— the banks would love a lot of taxpayer money with no strings attached. Folks in Congress, as well as the American people, would love to fix the banks without spending any money. (LAUGHS) And so at a certain point, you know, you've got just a— a very difficult line— to— to walk."
What is so funny that Obama needs to laugh? He can’t keep spending money America doesn’t have. It is no laughing matter.
Obama said he told them directly. 'Cause I've heard some of this. They need to spend a little time outside of New York. Because— you know, if you go to North Dakota, or you go to Iowa, or you go to Arkansas, where folks would be thrilled to be making $75,000 a year— without a bonus, then I think they'd get a sense of why people are frustrated. I mean there were a whole bunch of folks who, on paper, if you looked at quarterly reports, were wildly successful, selling derivatives (CHUCKLE) that turned out to be—“
STEVE KROFT: “Is there some limit to the amount of money we can spend?”
SOCIALIST OBAMA: “Yes.”
STEVE KROFT: “Or print trying to solve this crisis?”
SOCIALIST OBAMA: “There is.”
STEVE KROFT: “And are we getting close to it?”
SOCIALIST OBAMA: “The— the limit is our ability to— finance— these expenditures through borrowing. And, you know, the United States is fortunate that it has— the largest, most stable economic and political system— around. And so the dollar is still strong because people are still buying Treasury Bills. They still think that's the safest investment out there. If we don't get a handle on this, and also start looking at our long-term deficit projections, at a certain point people will stop buying— those— Treasury Bills.”
China has over $1 trillion of our treasury notes and has warned America. Do you want China taking over America? Socialist Obama is handing America to China.
STEVE KROFT: “ON THE SUBJECT OF THE AILING AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY THE PRESIDENT SAID HE IS STILL COMMITTED TO HELPING GENERAL MOTORS AND CHRYSLER AVERT BANKRUPTCY, BUT HE SAYS THEY HAVE YET TO DEMONSTRATE THEY CAN REMAIN ECONOMICALLY VIABLE. AND THERE ARE MAJOR POLITICAL OBSTACLES.”
PRESIDENT OBAMA: “I just want to say that-- the only thing less popular than putting money into banks is putting money (LAUGHS) into the auto industry. So—“
STEVE KROFT: “18 percent are in favor.”
PRESIDENT OBAMA: (LAUGHS) “That's—“
STEVE KROFT: “Seventy-six percent against.”
PRESIDENT OBAMA: “It-- it-- it's not a high number.”
STEVE KROFT: “You're sitting here. And you're-- you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, "I mean, he's sitting there just making jokes about (LAUGHTER) money--” How do you deal with-- I mean, wh-- explain –“
PRESIDENT OBAMA: “Well—“
STEVE KROFT: “--the mood and your laughter.”
PRESIDENT OBAMA: “Yeah, I mean, there's got to be—“
STEVE KROFT: “Are you punch drunk?”
America socialist Obama is laughing at you. Laughing at your suffering. He is so far removed from reality that even Steve Kroft a liberal asks if he’s punch drunk. And Obama wants to raise the debt even more and spend trillions more on socialist projects. When will it end??

Listen up conservatives...
Calling Obama a socialist and typing in all CAPS will not win over minorities and middle-class Americans (whats left of them).
The only way you'll ever regain power, with your current right-wing policies, is if the economy remains stagnant, which means that Obama will have to fail completely. Otherwise, you're screwed.
Why? Because the majority of Americans support gay rights, an open immigration policy, a diplomatic foreign policy, and expanded public services in the areas of food stamps, unemployment benefits, and healthcare.
However, the economy trumps all, and if Obama cannot provide jobs, then the voters won't care about the other issues.
Kinda sad really, that America has to fail for conservatives to succeed.

I was embarrassed by the President's inappropriate laughter at the nation's serious economic problems. He actually
sees humor it these bailouts and the taxpayer's anger over them. I'm not humored!

As an American I was too. I think it was more that his lack of experience was coming out. He cannot speak on the tough issues without the help of his cabinet members so he just chuckled instead. Look at last evenings press conference, totally canned and prepared. Using a huge TV screen to read from because he had no teleprompter.
Socialist Barack Obama is a great speaker when he has the speech right smack in front of him, he lacks the ability to memorize and give a speech and let people know it is coming from him directly.
I think he needs to pay attention to the economy and stay off the television shows where he doesn't belong.

This is a very ignorant website. I feel dumber for having read any of this. Stubborn ignorance is not synonymous with being American. What makes us socialist is not our public works, it is our Big Brother government, FBI, IRS, wire-tapping and torturing. That is the Republican MO, not the democratic MO. Let me get this right Matt, we are ignorant for not wanting to close our eyes as trillions upon trillions of dollars flow? We are ignorant for yelling loudly when earmark after earmark is funded during a time when the American people are suffering? We are ignorant for not being behind a 3+ trillion dollar budget one of the biggest in history at a time when we are experiencing unprecedented financial failures all around us?
Either you are totally blind and believe that Obama is some God who will fix everything or you are one of the people who will benefit from his enriching of the welfare system as he takes away from the working class to give to the nonworkers, which is it?
