4 Somali Muslim Pirates Hold U.S. Navy At Bay
 
 
Seriously?? Why are they still afloat?

American hero Capt. Richard Phillips escaped from the Somali Muslim pirates, promptly the Muslim pirates got him back.  Our Navy was able to do nothing.  Capt. Phillips was in the water, free.  Why is that lifeboat still afloat?

A pirate source said four pirates holding U.S. ship's captain Richard Phillips in a drifting lifeboat under the gaze of U.S. warships wanted $2 million for his release and a guarantee of their own safety.  Again, we ask why is the lifeboat still afloat?  Why was the U.S. Navy NOT allowed to blow the boat out of the water when Capt. Phillips leapt into the water?

A report from a pirate stronghold in Eyl, said four foreign ships held by pirates are heading toward the lifeboat.  A total of 54 hostages are on two of the ships — citizens of China, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, the Philippines, Tuvalu, Indonesia and Taiwan.
Two ships left Eyl on Wednesday. A third sailed from Haradhere, another pirate base in Somalia, and the fourth one was a Taiwanese fishing vessel seized Monday that was already only 30 miles from the lifeboat.  The ships include the German cargo ship Hansa Stavanger, seized earlier this month. The ship's crew of 24 is made up of five Germans, three Russians, two Ukrainians, two Filipinos and 12 from Tuvalu.

"Knowing that the Americans will not destroy this German ship and its foreign crew, they (the approaching pirates) hope they can meet their friends on the lifeboat," said a pirate, who has given reliable information in the past but asked for his name not to be used.

Maritime groups say the likeliest outcome from the U.S. hostage saga, the first time Somali pirates had captured an American, is a negotiated solution, possibly involving safe passage in exchange for the captive.  That isn’t what should happen to the Muslim thugs.

Socialist Barack Hussein Obama has yet another foreign policy problem in a place most Americans would rather forget.  In less than 90 days socialist Obama has shown his total weakness to the world. Now we are paying for it, we hope to God Capt. Richard Phillips doesn’t pay for it.

In backing down from Russia, in telling the world he apologizes for America’s arrogance, in sitting on his hands as North Korea launched an intercontinental ballistic missile, in his willingness to talk over nuclear weapons with the Iranians Obama shows he is in over his head and doesn’t know what to do.  

America we have an American hero in danger.  Socialist Obama hasn’t given the U.S. Navy permission to save him.   Let’s hope the teleprompter wakes up and tells him that in America, we save our heroes.  America we don’t want another Jimmy Carter hostage situation.
