Socialists Chavez & Ortega Educate Obama

Socialist Obama This Isn’t Community Organizing

The Summit of the Americas has been another learning lesson for the socialist Barack Hussein Obama. Socialists Chavez of Venezuela and Ortega of Nicaragua were the teachers this time. Hopefully before it is too late Socialist Obama will learn this isn't community organizing.

Socialist Ortega in his opening address at the summit spent 50 minutes denouncing America and American policies. Ortega went on to denounce US backed attempts to overthrow Fidel Castro’s new Communist government in Cuba in 1961 and what he believes is a history of US racism in what he called suffocating U.S. economic policies in the region.

After Obama's embarrassing apologies while in Europe, I'm sure Ortega felt it was correct for him to also denounce America and American policies. Socialist Obama opened the door with his European trip by apologizing for American actions and America's arrogance in doing so he may have set the policy back a decade or more.

Socialist Ortega went on in his speech to denounce the summit of America's. "This summit and I simply refuse to call it Summit of the Americas.  Yes, we are gathered here, we have a large majority of Presidents, heads of states of Latin America and the Caribbean," Ortega said, then lamenting the lack of Cuban participation in this summit due to its exclusion since 1962 Ortega said further, "they’re absent from this meeting,  Cuba, whose crime has been that of fighting for independence, fighting for sovereignty of the peoples. I don't feel comfortable attending the summit. I cannot feel comfortable by being here, I feel ashamed of the fact that I'm participating at this summit with the absence of Cuba."

Socialist Obama's education wasn't over when Ortega was finished. Obama had his second encounter with socialist Chavez later that evening. How proud America has to be that third world countries leaders are educating our President.

Obama had said he came to the summit of Latin American and Caribbean leaders to listen and learn about a region he'd never visited. On Saturday, one of his teachers, Hugo Chavez gave him some reading material that the Venezuelan President thinks will help.

The socialist Chavez gave Obama a hard copy edition of "Open Veins of Latin America: Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent," by Uruguayan journalist Eduardo Galeana. Chavez said he inscribed the book: “For Obama, with warm regards." The book is in Spanish and Obama is not bilingual.

In retrospect I wonder if Chavez thinks maybe he should have given Obama an iPod with all of his socialist speeches on it. I have to believe that Obama would be as thrilled with Chavez’s speeches as the Queen of England was with Obama's speeches. Obama may have enjoyed the speeches even more, seeing as he and Chavez are both socialists.

In any case we know for sure that socialist Obama once the book is translated for him will love it. The book like Obama denounces America and American policies.
