Republicans Question Obama’s Terror Policy

At a news conference, in what would be called a cavalier attitude President Hussein Obama signaled he understands the stakes on terror policy. When asked about releasing classified memos he said, "Ultimately I will be judged as Commander in Chief on how safe I'm keeping the American people."

While Obama was in Trinidad Sen. John Ensign (R-NV) said, "It was a irresponsible for the President to be seen kind of laughing and joking with Hugo Chavez, the anti-American president of Venezuela." Being dismissive of his critic Obama responded, "It's unlikely that as a consequence of me shaking hands or having a polite conversation with Mr. Chavez that we are endangering the strategic interests of the United States."

At times the criticism of socialist Obama is blunt, as when Cheney stated that his actions, "raise the risk" of another terrorist attack like the one on September 11, 2001. Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) referring to the release of detainees from Gitmo asked, "Will these trained terrorists be allowed to travel freely anywhere in the United States?  What will their status be?  Will they be allowed to stay here permanently?"

Socialist Obama has also made overtures to Cuba and the murderer Fidel Castro. Obama has relieved restrictions on travel and sending money to Cuba. Then while on his European trip he bowed to Saudi King Abdullah. Obama has also been attempting to open talks with Iran with no stipulations before the talks begin.  Iran is on the verge of having a nuclear weapon and is presently literally holding an American citizen hostage.

After socialist Obama released classified memos last month the Republicans received help from Dennis Blair, the administration's Director of National Intelligence, who told employees in a private memo that useful information had been obtained about Al Qaeda during interrogations where water boarding had been used.

Blair issued a public statement saying it was not possible to know whether the same material could have been gotten by other, less harsh means. Socialist Obama again dodging the issue said at his news conference, "It doesn't answer the broader question: Are we safer as a consequence of having used these techniques?"

Newt Gingrich former Republican House Speaker said on Fox news, "Jimmy Carter tried weakness, and the world got tougher and tougher because the predators, the aggressors, the anti-Americans, the dictators, when they sense weakness, they all start pushing ahead."

Speaker Gingrich went on to say, "What I find distressing is that the administration opposes opening up oil exploration, but Obama has bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia and now reached out to Chavez." Gingrich said Chavez has been conducting "A vicious anti-American campaign."

Former Congressman Porter Goss (R-FL) who was CIA director under Pres. George W. Bush was tougher than others on the release of the memos. Goss said, "Trading security for partisan political popularity will ensure that our secrets are not secret and that our intelligence is destined to fail us."

Yes Obama you will be judged as Commander-in-Chief. How many needless American lives will be lost because of your weakness and lack of understanding of the world?  The people who hate America and want to destroy us do not think you have a "gift" of speaking as you think you do.
