Graduation Should Not Have Been Platform For Abortion



Father Jenkins, Notre Dame's President, introduced socialist Barack Hussein Obama and praised him for not being "someone who stops talking to those who disagree with him." You are right Father, Obama doesn't stop talking to those who disagree with him, he just ignores anything they say.

Socialist Obama's commencement address were his most direct remarks as President on abortion -- an issue he generally sought to downplay during his presidential campaign. During the campaign socialist Obama didn't want America to know how anti-life he really is.

Obama used Notre Dame the nation's flagship Catholic University to expand on his anti-life beliefs. His appearance sparked protest for weeks in advance and in the minutes after he stepped to the podium. One protester screamed, "Abortion is murder." The man went on to say, "You are a baby killer." At this point the crowd broke into a deafening chant: "We are Notre Dame."

Socialist Obama in his most arrogant way said, "I do not suggest that the debate surrounding abortion can or should go away. Because no matter how much we may want to fudge it -- indeed, while we know that the views of most Americans on the subject are complex and even contradictory -- the fact is that at some level, the views of the two camps are irreconcilable."

Socialist Obama went on to say, "Each side will continue to make its case to the public with passion and conviction. But surely we can do so without reducing those with differing views to caricature." Obama called for a new, more respectful tone on the issue, marked by "open hearts, open minds and fair-minded words."

Sunday at Notre Dame was neither the time nor the place to give socialist Obama his forum. Father Jenkins did a disservice to Notre Dame, Catholics, and Christians everywhere by inviting Obama and giving him an honorary degree.

America just look at the history of socialist Obama. He is for infanticide. He is for embryonic stem cell research. He is for abortion at any stage of pregnancy.  Obama has the right to his views and his beliefs however, graduation ceremonies at Notre Dame was not the place for them.
