Obamacare Will Put More Taxes On America

Elitist progressive liberal Barack Hussein Obama lied on 5 TV networks Sunday.  Obama has said he will not increase taxes on Americans making less than $250,000.  Obama is now saying there isn’t a tax increase in Obamacare health care.

On page 29, sentence one of the bill introduced by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont) says: “The consequence for not maintaining insurance would be an excise tax.”  The bill requires every American, with few exceptions, to carry health insurance. To enforce this individual mandate, the Senate Finance Committee created the excise tax as a penalty for people who don’t have insurance – and it can run as much as $3,800 a year per family.

The House bill also refers to the penalties for not carrying insurance as a tax. It calls for a “tax on individuals without acceptable health care coverage” and amends the tax code to implement it.

In an interview that aired Sunday on ABC's "This Week," Obama insisted that the insurance requirement is not a tax.  "The fact that it is imposed on people and they have no choice in paying it, and the fact that it's administered through the tax system all make it look like a tax," Roberton Williams of the Tax Policy Center said. The center is a joint venture of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution.

Elitist progressive liberal Obama is lying to America.  He may try to call it another name but it is a tax.  Congress calls it a tax again America can’t trust what Obama says.

“I can make a firm pledge," Obama said in Dover, N.H., on Sept. 12, 2008. "Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes."   Obama repeatedly promised "you will not see any of your taxes increase one single dime."

America stop this socialist takeover of health care.  Obamacare is socialist health care.  No one in America will receive better care under Obamacare.  Many Americans especially our senior citizens and special needs Americans will receive less and worse care.  Tell your Representatives and Senators no to Obamacare health care.
