Obama Doesn’t Like the Truth Only His View

Sources say the elitist progressive Barack Hussein Obama administration is muzzling its top military leaders, and keeping them from publicly airing their views on how to fight the war in Afghanistan. Their primary target: top Afghanistan commander General Stanley McChrystal, whose speech in London last week apparently caught administration officials off guard.

In a confidential report to Obama that was leaked two weeks ago to Bob Woodward of The Post, McChrystal argued for a counterinsurgency strategy that would basically involve protecting the people of Afghanistan from the Taliban and al-Qaeda, and thus winning the population's hearts and minds. To do this would require lots more than the 62,000 U.S. troops now in the country. So, logically, McChrystal wants more forces soon.

General McChrystal flatly rejected proposals to switch to a strategy more reliant on drone missile strikes and special forces operations against al-Qaeda.   He told the laceType w:st="on">InstitutelaceType> of laceName w:st="on">InternationallaceName> and Strategic Studies that the formula, which is favored by Vice-President Joe Biden, would lead to "Chaos-istan".

When asked whether he would support it, he said: "The short answer is: No."  The world knows Joe Biden has never been right on foreign policy.  If we listened to Biden the Berlin Wall would still be standing.

General McChrystal went on to say: "Waiting does not prolong a favorable outcome. This effort will not remain winnable indefinitely, and nor will public support."

In an apparent rebuke to the commander, Robert Gates, the Defence Secretary, said: "It is imperative that all of us taking part in these deliberations, civilians and military alike, provide our best advice to the President, candidly but privately."

An adviser to the administration said: "People aren't sure whether McChrystal is being naïve or an upstart. To my mind he doesn't seem ready for this Washington hard-ball and is just speaking his mind too plainly."

Obama can decide on a non stimulus plan that hasn’t worked, a plan he hadn’t read and didn’t know what was in it.  Obama is advocating Obamacare health care that he doesn’t know what is in it.  Both of these turn America in the direction of socialism.

Brave American soldiers are dying and being wounded.  Obama has known General McChrystal’s plan for over a month.  All Obama and his minions can do is criticize McChrystal for giving a speech and answering questions honestly.  No decision from Obama and he says it will be weeks more before there is a decision.

Obama and his minions are a disgrace to America.
