Socialist Obama’s Afghan Surrender Speech

Community Organizer Obama Tells al-Qaida / Taliban When We’re Leaving

Socialist Barack Hussein Obama gave his long awaited decision on Afghanistan with a backdrop of West Point.  These brave young men and women had to hear Obama give more of a surrender speech than a speech from the Commander-In-Chief.  A military leader giving a speech like that would be considered a loser.

No one remembered to tell the community organizer Obama that you don’t give the enemy your war plans.  You don’t tell the Taliban and al-Qaida hold on we’re going to run in 18 months.  He already has told them his ‘rules of engagement.’  Those rules of engagement doom our brave military men and women to defeat.
Socialist Obama spoke 4608 words in the speech.  Not once did Obama use the word win or victory.  He did use withdraw several times.

On the hallowed grounds of West Point Obama lied saying “Commanders in Afghanistan repeatedly asked for support to deal with the reemergence of the Taliban, but these reinforcements did not arrive.”
The historic record shows that George Bush never denied commanders in Afghanistan the support they requested. Even in this speech Obama had to bash Bush.  Obama knows he isn't 1/2 the man Bush is and it bothers him.

The record shows that Barack Obama is not even granting McChrystal the General’s preferred troop level. McChrystal wanted 40,000 troops to 80,000 troops. So Bush gave the Generals in Afghanistan everything they wanted, despite Obama saying he did not, and Obama is not giving his General what was requested, despite claiming he is.

Proving again that he is a community organizer not a leader, Obama intends to have a surge of 30,000 troops in Afghanistan, but concurrently announce the timeline for their withdrawal. Would you tell burglars exactly the time at which you intend to depart your house and also announcing you intend to turn off the burglar alarm? Al Qaeda will just wait us out. They’ll only need to wait a year. The men who spent years planning 9/11 are more patient than this President who wants instant gratification in a never ending campaign.
In this part of the speech Obama is telling the world Obama we will do nothing. We will talk and we will keep the light on but that’s it.

‘And we must make it clear to every man, woman and child around the world who lives under the dark cloud of tyranny that America will speak out on behalf of their human rights, and tend to the light of freedom, and justice, and opportunity, and respect for the dignity of all peoples. That is who we are. That is the moral source of America’s authority.’

Obama views the nation as he is himself a smooth talker with no actual action. Obama wants an America that talks a good game, but won’t actually get its hands dirty.

    Take this to the bank:

We will lose the war in Afghanistan. Just as in Iraq, every serviceman or woman who has died there has died for no reason. Russia and merrie old England learned this lesson a long time ago. You would think....Never mind.

Suffice to say, on my best day I do not receive one tenth of the information that President Obama receives. I don't read any of the Presidential Daily Briefings that are placed on his desk every morning. Obviously he is in possession of a wealth of intelligence that you and I are just not privy to. Maybe we should be giving him the benefit of the doubt - and I have been doing just that, I promise you. But from my vantage point it appears to me that this president has failed to learn the lessons that have been passed onto us down the decades by the administrations of Franklin Delano Rossevelt and Lyndon Baines Johnson - lessons involving bold action in times of economic crisis (more on that another day) and the utter folly of waging wars that cannot be won.

Let this be etched in stone:

Any country that would view its women as inferior beings not entitled to basic human rights is not worth one drop of ANYBODY'S blood.

I want to believe in this president. He is the chief executive I worked harder to elect than any other in my lifetime. I realize that it is simply far too early in this administration to write a final assessment of his term of office. That being said, my confidence in the Obama White House is ebbing rapidly. Where in the hell is all of this change I could believe in? Is the Bush Mob still in charge? What gives?

    NOTE TO THE RIGHT WING:

No, I am still exceedingly grateful that John McCain and Gidget von Braun did not win the election last year. Have another sip.
