Tea Parties Going Strong Through Holidays
The socialist Democrats and elitist progressive main stream media have called those of us who’ve attended tea parties and rallies brown shirts, terrorists, and worse. The main stream media has tried to ignore us by not reporting about events being held.
The Democrats belief is that we will tire of defending our rights. They think if they ignore us for long enough we will just disappear into the sunset. Those socialists Democrats and main stream media have no concept of what a real American is. They don’t understand our will to oppose them and their attempted socialist takeover of America.
Thousands of us were on the Capitol steps in November rallying against Obamacare socialized health care. Much of the main stream media never reported on it. They didn’t report there was even going to be a rally. Yet on short notice thousands of us were there.
It’s now the holiday season. The Democrats hope we’ll forget their attempted socialist takeover of our health care and of America in general. They brag of the hundreds of millions of our tax dollars they are getting to vote for Obamacare. They just don’t understand our will to oppose them and their attempted socialist takeover of America.
But while Americans prepared for Thanksgiving feasts and hit the malls on Black Friday, the Tea Party movement lived on in the streets of St. Louis and in the small towns of Arkansas to protest Obamacare, rampant government spending, and the massive expansion of the federal government.

According to the St. Louis Conservative Examiner, 4,000 “Tea Partiers” gathered on Saturday in downtown St. Louis’ Kiener plaza. The paper reported the protesters were quickly energized with waving flags and signs adorning issues most important to them. Rationed health care, czars, corruption, and increased taxes were many of the protests discussed and displayed.
Protester Jane Petry says,” Losing the values of our country, not following our constitution anymore, and health care, the government thinking they can take that over.” Are the things important to her.
Protester Joe Wilson says, “I don’t think the government should be spending more money than it brings in. That’s not the way I live and I don’t think that’s how the government should operate.”
In Harrison, Ark., 200 protesters gathered at the Boone County Courthouse on November 20 as part of the Americans for Prosperity bus tour against federally-run health care. The “Hands off my health care” bus has made about 60 stops around the state, and, according to Oelke, more than 25,000 people have signed petitions against a federally-run health care system.
“No one here is against health care reform,” Teresa Oelke, the state director for the Arkansas chapter of Americans for Prosperity, told the crowd of about 200. “We just believe there is different way to get there.”
Stay engaged America. United we will stop the attempted destruction of America by the socialist Democrats. We can stop Obamacare socialized health care. We have the 2010 elections to remove many of these socialists who refuse to listen to us.
