Speech Is About More Spending On Short Term Government Jobs

Socialist Barack Hussein Obama spent millions of tax dollars this week to have a big job summit.  Today Obama told us how he plans to get the millions back to work.  This proposal is a bad as ‘cash for clunkers,’ the non stimulus package and every other hair brained scheme the community organizer and his socialist friends have come up with.

Basic economics tells you the government doesn’t make real jobs.  Every job the government makes drains money from working America and from businesses that actually create real jobs.  It seems the community organizer having NO real world work experience does not understand this basic premise.

Obama outlined new multibillion-dollar stimulus and jobs proposals, saying the nation must continue to "spend our way out of this recession" until more Americans are back at work.  Obama proposed a package of new spending for highway, bridge and other infrastructure projects. And a new program ‘cash for caulkers.’   Tax incentives to encourage people to make their homes more energy efficient.

Obama did also call for some tax breaks for small businesses.  Remember though small businesses are in for a huge tax increase in 2010.  The tax cuts put in by Bush expire in 2010 and the socialist Democrats have no intention of keeping that tax cut in force.  There are also the tax increases in Obamacare that will keep small businesses from any expansion.

"We avoided the depression many feared," Obama said in a speech at the Brookings Institution, a Washington think tank. But, he added, "Our work is far from done."

Obama called for more government spending on infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges and water projects and for new tax breaks for consumers who invest in energy-efficient retrofits in their homes. This could be what some administration officials have called a "Cash for Caulkers" program modeled on the now-expired Cash for Clunkers program of tax rebates for people who turned in old cars for more fuel-efficient models that was a total failure and cost more per car than buying the cars outright.

While acknowledging increasing concerns in Congress and among the public over the nation's growing debt, Obama said critics present a "false choice" between paying down deficits and investing in job creation and economic growth.

To pay for the new programs, the administration is citing the Treasury Department's report on Monday that it expects to get back $200 billion in taxpayer-approved bank bailout funds faster than expected.

Government jobs do not last.  When a project is finished the job is over.  Government jobs are not the answer to re-employ America.  Stop the socialist Obamacare and give Americans some of their money back.  The people will spend and jobs will be created in the private sector.  The tax receipts increase and the government outlay for the unemployed decreases.
