Boxer Says Hackers Should Face Criminal Probe Not Fraudulent Scientist

Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) is a proponent of man-made global warming.  Boxer isn’t bothered that the scientists who are proponents of man-made global warming were committing fraud.  It’s a just cause in her mind so fraud is acceptable to justify that view.

Boxer said, leaked e-mails allegedly undermining climate change science should be treated as a criminal matter.  Boxer, the top Democrat on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, said that the recently released e-mails, showing scientists allegedly overstating the case for climate change, should be treated as a crime.

"You call it 'Climategate'; I call it 'E-mail-theft-gate,'" she said during a committee meeting. "Whatever it is, the main issue is, Are we facing global warming or are we not? I'm looking at these e-mails, that, even though they were stolen, are now out in the public."

Boxer said her committee may hold hearings into the matter as its top Republican, Senator James Inhofe (OK), has asked for, but that a criminal probe would be part of any such hearings.  "We may well have a hearing on this, we may not. We may have a briefing for Senators, we may not," Boxer said. "Part of our looking at this will be looking at a criminal activity which could have well been coordinated.”

The emails showed the director of the university's Climate Research Unit discussing ways to strengthen the unit's case for global warming. Climate change skeptics have seized on the e-mails, arguing that they demonstrate manipulation in environmental science.

Britain's University of East Anglia says the director of its prestigious Climatic Research Unit is stepping down pending an investigation into allegations that he overstated the case for man-made climate change.  The university says Phil Jones will relinquish his position until the completion of an independent review into allegations that he worked to alter the way in which global temperature data was presented.

The emails clearly show that temperatures and other data were changed to fit the man-made global warming theory.  The scientist who believe in man-made global warming with help of the main stream media have attempted to destroy the careers of scientist with real data that disprove their theories.

Boxer and the socialist Democrats who want to destroy America’s economy with fanatical new laws and regulations aren’t concerned that the data for man-made global warming is a hoax.  Neither Boxer nor any others are asking for an investigation into the hoax.  No they want to destroy the messenger who brought them the message.
