Obama Won’t Start Obamacare Over

During the Super Bowl pregame show socialist Barack Hussein Obama had an interview with Katie Couric of CBS News.  “I want to come back [after the Presidents’ Day congressional recess] and have a large meeting — Republicans and Democrats — to go through, systematically, all the best ideas that are out there, and move it forward,” Obama said.

Couric asked Obama if he was “willing to start at square one.”  Obama wouldn’t answer.  The February 25 meeting is an attempt to reach across the aisle but not a signal that the President plans to start over, as Republicans have demanded, a White House official said.

Obama said during the interview, “What I’ve been doing is consulting closely with the leaders in the House, the leaders in the Senate, on the Democratic side, and I want to consult closely with our Republican colleagues.” 

“So they’re going to be coming in to the White House next week. And what I want to do is ask them to put their ideas on the table. And then after the [Presidents’ Day] recess, which will be a few weeks away, I want to come back and have a large meeting.

“What I want to do is to look at the Republican ideas that are out there, and I want to be very specific: “How do you guys want to lower costs? How do you guys intend to reform the insurance market so people with preexisting conditions, for instance, can get health care? How do you want to make sure that the 30 million people who don’t have health insurance can get it what are your ideas specifically?’” Obama continued.

“While he’s been very clear that he supports the House and Senate bills, if Republicans or anyone else has a plan for protecting Americans from insurance company abuses, lowering costs, reducing prescription drug prices for seniors, making coverage more secure, and offering affordable options to those without coverage, he’s anxious to see it and debate the merits of it,” the White House official said.

The Republicans have given specifics on health care.  Obama and the Democrats haven’t wanted to listen to those ideas.  The GOP ideas don’t accomplish the socialist Obama and Democrats primary goal.  Complete control of America’s health care.

Obama says then there will be a second meeting that will be televised.  We’ve seen Obama’s broken promises before.  Will we actually get to see when after the Democrats have had weeks to rip apart every GOP suggestion the meeting televised?  Actually I’m sure we will.  It will be a loaded meeting for Obama and the Democrats to attempt to shred any GOP ideas.
Obama and the Democrats want Obamacare socialized health care.  Obama has made it clear he doesn’t care what America says or wants.
