Republicans Need To Call Obama’s Bluff On Obamacare

Set Agenda For Real Health Care Reform

Barack Hussein Obama has invited the Republicans to discuss healthcare during a televised meeting to be held February 25th.  Obama has been on TV several times the last few days taunting the Republicans on his socialist Obamacare.  He wants to set a trap for the Republicans.  The Republicans need to set an agenda if Obama is being truthful about bipartisanship.

The Democrat's Obamacare socialized health care plans for the government to take over 18% of our economy. As America has,  the Republicans need to tell Obama and the Democrats that Obamacare is dead.  A large majority of American taxpayers agree with the Republicans on that.

It’s time for the Republican leadership to show leadership.  If they don’t and play into Obama’s trap then this will be a long uncomfortable summer.  The Republicans can propose some common sense solutions. The Republicans have been making good proposals and the Democrats said we don’t need you or your input.  We have the majority.  They then accuse Republicans of partisanship.

Make Obama and the Democrats defend their socializing health care.  They can’t defend what they are proposing.  America has seen through their attempt at socializing health care.

Start with these common sense proposals most of which Republicans have already made and the Democrats have shot down.

1. Allow people to buy health insurance across state lines.

2. Eliminate mandates for health insurance policies, which drive up policy costs.

3. Allow employees to actually own the policies their employers pay for which would mean they could take those policies with them.

4. Allow people to form groups to buy large group policies.

5. Allow people to deduct the cost of their health insurance from their taxable income like employers can.

6. Expand health savings accounts.

7. Real tort reform.

The Republican leadership must tell Obama that they will be willing to meet and work with him only under the following conditions:

1. Both current bills will be scrapped in their entirety and the new bill will be crafted from position zero.
2. There will be no "government option."
3. There will be no mandate for individuals to buy health insurance policies.
4. There will be no new taxes to pay for this bill

If Obama honestly wants a health insurance reform bill then he shouldn’t have a problem starting fresh and making a real health reform bill and not Obamacare socialized health care.  Do you think Obama will start fresh and achieve a bipartisan health insurance bill?
