Obama Gets Tough With Wall Street, Business And Republicans

Iran And North Korea Can Do As They Please

This week Barack Hussein Obama has had tough talk for Wall Street, American businesses, and the Republicans.  In Illinois this past week Obama said Wall Street, is little better than "a big casino" playing with "Monopoly money."  "Those irresponsible practices came awfully close to bringing down our entire economy and millions of dreams along with it," Obama proclaimed.

In the Capitol, Sen. Chuck Schumer, (D-NY) explained it with the Democrat spin.  "Bottom line, on the health care bill, we allowed too many lies to get out there without rebuttal, because we thought they were so obviously untrue," he said. "But we've learned our lesson."

"And the minute these things come out of the mouths of some of our Republican colleagues, we rebut them. And we rebut them again and again. And fortunately, these lies are not taking hold."

Democrats faced angry voters at dozens of town hall meetings over the summer. In the end, nearly 13 months later the bill passed without a single GOP vote and with the breaking of Congressional rules to accomplish the passing of Obamacare socialized health care.

As for the “lies” Schumer says the Republicans spread about Obamacare the bill speaks for itself.  Every day more comes out proving what was said was not only true it is worse.

Obama and the Democrats are again trying to pass a faulty bill.  This time it’s the financial reform bill.  The Democrats want to rush and force a bad piece of legislation down America’s throat again.

Obama wants to be tough with Republicans, Wall Street and American businesses.  This is the same Obama who has over and over backed down to Iran and North Korea.  Why won’t Obama be tough with those who want to destroy us and wants to be tough with America?

Republicans dispute the claims they are trying to prevent financial reform legislation, saying Democrats are the ones mischaracterizing the legislation and that they want reform as much as anyone. "Everyone agrees that we must rein in Wall Street," Sen. Lisa Murkowski, (R-AK).

White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer said health care reaffirmed two lessons: "not to let the day-to-day political disputes distract from the overall goal and not to assume that the opposition is willing to be constructive."

Obama and the Democrats as with every bill they have passed thus far want only two things.  They want to destroy the American economy and they want complete control of our lives.

Obama says the Republicans have offered nothing.  Over the next week our sister blog SpeakNowConservatives  will carry a series of Republican ideas that Obama and the Democrats have refused to look at.
