Is FairTax The Solution To Save America?

Past policies by previous Presidents and Congresses have America deeply in debt. The mismanagement of social security and medicare has made the budget crisis even worse.  The actions of Barack Hussein Obama and this Congress have moved an extremely serious problem to the point of bankruptcy of America.

The budget deficit has become so bad in the last 18 months that the crisis is now at hand.  Even some high ranking Democrats know America is on the verge of bankruptcy and they are saying so openly.

Presidents and members of Congress for too many years have used tax dollars to buy votes and have made a class of people dependent on the government.  The things they have done under the guise of upholding the Constitution would make our forefathers shudder.

Obama and this Congress are giving new meaning to deficit spending and to taking unconstitutional steps to gain more power and control of the people they are supposed to represent.

In just 18 months Obama and this Congress have grown the deficit by over $3 trillion dollars.  They have plans for even more spending.  Obamacare will increase the deficit even more and burden a very weak economy with more taxes.  These policies are bankrupting America.

The economy is struggling.  The rate now stands at 9.5%.  Still all that is done is to tax and spend.  The spending is hurting badly needed economic growth to improve the jobs crisis.

The time is now for drastic measures.  Obama and Congress will fight the measures needed.  The budget, spending, and taxing are their main way of having control and power over America.

The tax code is over 67,000 pages long.  No member of Congress, not even IRS agents understand all the rules and regulations in the tax code.  Congress too often uses the tax code to reward friends and punish enemies.

Is it time to abolish the tax code and the IRS?  Is this the time to the tax code manipulation by Congress?  Are there simpler and more equitable ways to provide the monies needed for the government to function properly?

The answer to all of these questions is yes.  One positive and equitable solution to save the economy is the FairTax.  Several successful business men and economists have spent thousands of hours and millions of dollars developing the FairTax.

There have been several books written on the FairTax.  Over the coming weeks we will explore the features of the FairTax and how it could save our economy.

The FairTax is the opposite of our present tax system.  It would do away with your withholding taxes, social security and Medicare withholdings, along with business taxes, capital gains taxes, and the death (inheritance) tax. 

The FairTax taxes consumption and doesn’t punish hard work.  Instead of bankrupting America it can be the solution to save America’s economy.  Over the next few weeks we will cover more of the FairTax.
