In Canada Soliciting Campaign Money From Trial Lawyers

Harry Reid and 12 other Democrat Senate hopefuls went to Canada to raise campaign money.  They hit up the trial lawyers for some hefty contributions.  "Could Harry Reid be anymore out of touch to think that leaving the United States to raise campaign cash is appropriate while Nevada tops the nation with 14 percent unemployment? What was Harry Reid thinking and, more importantly, where exactly are his priorities?" asked National Republican Senatorial Committee spokesman Brian Walsh.

Another attendee begging for bucks in Canada was Rand Paul’s opponent from Kentucky, Jack Conway. Conway headed north, to Canada, for a meeting of trial lawyers from whom he wanted cash. Conway’s campaign said it welcomes support from across the country.  Has Canada become part of the United States?

Joining Reid and Conway was the mob banker from Illinois, Giannoulias.  The other Democrats that went to Canada for campaign money were:

The Vancouver fund-raiser was sponsored by the American Association for Justice's Committee for a Better Future. The price ranged from $43,200 to $250. The haul from the event was divided between 12 Democratic Senate candidates, according to the invitation.  Foreign nationals cannot contribute to U.S. federal campaigns.

These Senate hopefuls are taking a page from Barack Hussein Obama’s book.  Raising money, spending money, and supporting people in the United States is, beneath them. They’d rather hang out with Canadians to raise money from trial lawyers than their own fellow Americans.

Election 2010 does matter….
