Reid Makes Racists Remark

Harry Reid shows again it’s alright to be a bigoted racist if you are a socialist Democrat.  This time Marco Rubio (R-FL) took Reid to task.  Rubio is of Hispanic decent and is running for the Senate.  There is a reason that Rubio now leads in the polls. Too bad Reid is too bigoted to see why a person of Hispanic heritage would choose to be a Republican.

In 2008, Reid suggested that Obama’s success was due in part to his “light-skinned “appearance and ability to turn on/off his “Negro dialect.”  In their usual biased in the bag for socialist Democrat way the main stream media gave Reid a pass on those racist remarks.  Remember when Majority Leader Trent Lott made a toast to a hundred year old Republican the main stream media determined was racist for remarks 50 years before? 

On August 10, 2010, Reid made this remark, ““I don’t know how anyone of Hispanic heritage could be a Republican, OK? Do I need to say more?”



Fox News’ “Fox and Friends,” gave Florida’s Marco Rubio –a Republican of Hispanic heritage, an opportunity to respond to Reid’s latest “outrageous” and “ridiculous” racial slur.

It’s outrageous. It’s ridiculous.

You know, Americans of Hispanic descent, you know the strongest issue there is? That is economic empowerment–upward mobility. My parents worked every single day to work to give me and my sibling’s opportunities that they didn’t have.

There’s only one economic system in the world that that’s possible in time and again and that’s the American free enterprise system. And the reason why Americans of Hispanic descent should be Republicans is because the Democratic leadership is trying to dismantle the American free enterprise system–the only system in the world where parents like mine, who work hard and play by the rules, can give their children the opportunities they themselves did not have.

America we know who the true racists are and always have been.  It is the socialist Democrats.
