Public And Economists Oppose Obama’s Tax Hike Plan
Obama There Is Bipartisan Support To Keep Bush Tax Cuts
Two surveys have found popular support for keeping the Bush-era tax cuts in place for all taxpayers – a key plank in the House GOP’s “Pledge to America.” A survey by CNN/Money found that 60% of economists polled support keeping the Bush tax cuts for all.
Barack Hussein Obama says the Republicans are blocking a tax cut for middle income Americans. Obama is trying to call the extension of Bush tax cuts his tax cut for middle income Americans. It is not a tax cut that Obama has proposed it is the extension of the current tax rates.
Obama also lies and says the Republicans want to give tax cuts to millionaires and billionaires. The Republicans know that increasing taxes for those making $250,000 and more will hurt small businesses. That letting the taxes rise on these taxpayers will slow down small business growth. Most jobs in America come from the small businesses Obama wants to raise the taxes on.
There is bipartisan support in both the House and Senate to extend the tax cuts beyond the end of the year. Republicans want to permanently extend the tax cuts for all taxpayers, while several centrists Democrats are breaking with their party calling for at least temporarily extending the tax cuts for all earners until the recession is over.
Obama and Democratic leaders in Congress favor permanently extending tax cuts only for households earning less than $250,000 or individuals earning less than $200,000. But even Obama’s former director of Office of Management and Budget Peter Orszag called for a compromise of temporarily extending the Bush tax cuts for everyone until the economy recovers.
Meanwhile, 55% of the general public believes that increasing taxes, even on those earning $250,000 or more, would slow economic growth and hurt job growth, while 40% believe the tax cuts should be rolled back for high earners, according to a CNBC poll.
Obama lies and calls the extension of Bush tax cuts his tax cuts for middle income Americans. Obama lies and says the Republicans are blocking this “tax cut”. The Democrats hold majorities in the House and Senate. There is bipartisan support for extending all of Bush’s tax cuts.
In 20 months Obama has done nothing to improve the economic conditions in America. Obama refuses to take the steps necessary to improve the economy. He wants a bad economy to gain control of more Americans.
