Spreadsheet Outlines 6700+ Earmarks

Senator Tom Coburn best known for making fools of the big spenders in Washington is doing it yet again.  The Senator has set up a spreadsheet of 6700+ earmarks.  He shows what it is, how much, and sponsored by whom.

This omnibus budget bill is the last hurrah by Harry Reid and the big spenders before conservatives have more leverage.  This bill is like a Christmas tree.  Senators are hanging all their pork on it.

 If this horrendous bill doesn’t pass by today the federal government shuts down.  Some items on the list may not be all bad the sensible thing to do would be to pass a continuation bill for 45 to 60 days.  This would allow the government to keep running at current levels until the new Congress is in office.  Harry Reid though isn’t sensible.
