Obama Administration Going After Military Health Care

Obama Philosophy Is Take From Working America

For the second time since he took office Barack Obama and his administration are going after military health care.  The last time Obama wanted our men and women protecting America to buy their own health insurance from the private sector.  Now Robert Gates is leading another attack on military health benefits.

"I remain committed to applying more fiscal responsibility and accountability to the Department of Defense, but I will not stand idly by and watch the White House gut defense when Americans are deployed in harm's way," Rep. Buck McKeon(R-CA), the new chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, said of Gates' broader proposal to cut $78 billion from the Pentagon budget over the next five years.

The military health care program, set up in the 1960s and known as TRICARE, has exploded in cost in recent years with some 10 million individuals now eligible for coverage, including active-duty personnel, retirees, reservists and their families. The price tag has climbed from $19 billion a year a decade ago to its current $50 billion.

Why is it that Obama always wants to take from productive hard working Americans so that he has more to give to those who don’t work?  Obama and the Democrats always want to punish working America.  Obama is ready to cut health care for military families to give more to the non productive of America.  Obama is willing to give more benefits to illegal aliens than he is to the men and women who protect America.
