This Debate Is A Must

The debt limit debate is looming over America.  The government will run out of money by mid March.  How will this debate unfold?

In 2006 Barack Obama then a member of the Senate said that increasing the debt limit showed a lack of leadership.  He and Harry Reid both voted against increasing the debt limit then.  Now both are champions of increasing the debt limit.

Along with Obamacare the relentless spending of Obama and the democrats is what woke the sleeping giant in 2009.  The two biggest issues of the Tea Party have been the swelling size of government and Obamacare.

House Republicans need to stand tall and fight for real budget cuts before the debt limit is raised.  If they don’t they will see a massive revolt within their own party.

The Tea party and many hard working Americans worked hard to elect conservative Representatives in the 2010 elections.  The old complacent Republican establishment needs to understand times have changed no debt limit bill is acceptable without serious budget cuts.

Since Obama took office non-defense discretionary spending has risen 41%.  This spending is destroying our economy and our country.  It has to be stopped NOW!!!

Many have suggested rolling back the non-defense spending to 2008 levels.  Then keep them at that level for three years.

The left tells us how great Bill Clinton and his budgets were.  They are extremely proud of those budgets.  Then let’s roll back to the 1998 budget.  Let’s keep spending at 1998 levels for five years.  Let’s be real serious and stop this runaway deficit spending.

The good ole boys in the Republican Party had better wake up.  We are serious about bringing the spending and size of the federal government under control.
