Have The Republican Elites Forgotten The Elections?

Have Boehner, Cantor, and the other elite good old boy Republicans forgotten the November 2010 elections?  Have they not seen the Tea Party rallies the last two years?  Are they afraid of Barack Obama?  They certainly are not representing the people of America.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) said that the new continuing resolution (CR) the House passed to keep the federal government funded will permit the Obama administration to spend money on the implementation of Obamacare.

Last Thursday, Representatives Steve King (R.-IA) and Michele Bachmann (R.-MN) sent a letter to Cantor, House Speaker John Boehner (R.-OH) and Appropriations Chairman Hal Rogers asking them to include language in any future CR that would prohibit the administration from spending any money to implement Obamacare. King and Bachmann vowed not to vote for any CR that permitted funding of Obamacare and called on other House members to take the same pledge.

Many House Republicans voted against the CR.  The leadership doesn’t seem to get it.  They are afraid of Obama and the main street media.  In the lame duck session after the elections the Republican leadership rolled over and capitulated to Obama, Reid, and Pelosi.

No more CR’s or debt increase authorizations without real cuts.  Defund Obamacare.  Defund NPR and Planned Parenthood.  Defund the EPA and the Department of Education.  This is what America voted you in for. 

Let Obama and Reid shut down the government.  Stay out front and explain what you are doing to the American people.  We will understand.  The MSM will lie and distort for Obama.  So be it.  Do what you were elected for.

America let your Representatives and Senators know you are serious about defunding Obamacare and cutting the budget.
