A Budget That Won't Hurt Social Security And Medicare

It is time to tighten America's collective belt.  The Democrats over the last four years and Barack Obama over the last two years have shown us what uncontrolled mad hatter spending can do.  Obama and the Democrats have given us over $4 trillion of debt with no end in sight.

The first step is to reduce spending to 2008 levels.  The only exceptions being defense, social security, and Medicare.  NO other area of the budget can get one more cent than in 2008.

We need to eliminate the Department of Education.  Since Jimmy Carter started this department the quality of education has declined every year as more and more federal money is thrown at it.  The government can give small block grants to states with NO strings attached.  Education is a local issue and needs to be run locally.

Eliminate the EPA.  The EPA has gone too far beyond their original scope.  The needed parts can be put in other departments.

Farm aid needs to be abolished.  Most of this aid goes to huge corporate farmers.  This includes eliminating ALL ethanol subsidies. 

Stop and eliminate foreign aid.  It is senseless to borrow money and put our children and grandchildren in debt to give the money to countries who hate us.

Totally defund Obamacare.

Audit ALL government programs to find duplications and eliminate those duplications.  Also evaluate all government programs and eliminate all that do NO good and / or don't meet their objectives.

Reduce corporate taxes to 10%.  We pay those taxes not corporations.  The taxes are part of the price you pay for their goods and services.

Reduce the top personal income tax rate to 25%.  Reduce all other rates proportionately.  We have to get the economy moving again.

We have to eliminate deficit spending.  We have to reduce the size and scope of the federal government.  We have to get the federal debt paid and eliminated.  This budget will do all of those things.
