The Republicans Need To Use Common Sense Solution

Now is the time for the Republicans in the House to grab the bull by the horns.  They can use common sense for a solution to the debt ceiling crisis.  They can defeat Obama at his own game.

John Boehner and the House Republicans have the ability to make one simple bill.  It would then go to the Senate.  If Harry (the weasel) Reid doesn't get the bill through his Democrat controlled Senate the Democrats are to blame.  If the Senate passes the bill then Barack Obama signs the bill or he takes the blame for not raising the debt ceiling.

The House bill would guarantee the Treasury will pay the debt interest, social security, Medicare, and our military.  The bill would have a "Balanced Budget Amendment" to go to the states attached to it.

In addition the bill would freeze all other government spending at 2006 levels.  This would include pay and staffing rollbacks to 2006 levels.

This bill would increase the debt limit enough to get us through the 2012 elections.

This is a common sense solution to solve the debt ceiling crisis.  The winners are America's taxpayers.  The losers are those who want to grow the government to take over our lives.

Boehner and the House Republicans can put Obama, Reid, and the Democrats proverbial feet to the fire.  If they fail to pass the bill in the Senate it shows the Democrats never wanted a solution.  If Obama vetoes the bill it shows his socialist agenda lack of concern for America and hard working Americans.
