Reid Leader Of 'NO' Democrats

Do Nothing Reid Just Says "NO"

Harry Reid is supposed to be the Senate majority leader. He has lead nothing but a chorus of no's. The Senate accomplishes nothing. The House passes bills and Reid even before they are voted on in the House says no. As with Cut, Cap, & Balance he wouldn't even let the Senate vote on the bill.

Reid has introduced a rival plan, which would, according to CBO, reduce the deficit by "about $2.2 trillion" if future Congresses adhere to all of its spending caps and other policy changes. Most of his savings come from gutting the military. Even then he uses unreasonable figures to accomplish his "savings."

Under Reid this is the Senate record:

•Has not passed a budget in nearly 900 days,

•Rejected the House-passed 2012 budget by 40–57,

•Rejected the Obama budget 97–0,

•Abdicated the hard decision on the House’s first plan debt ceiling plan—Cut, Cap and Balance—and voted against letting the legislation come to the floor for a vote.

The House keeps trying on the debt ceiling. Reid refuses any bill with true cuts. He rejects anything less than a $2 trillion + bill so that for the next year and a half so that Barack Obama can keep spending like a drunken sailor. (No offense meant to sailors.)

James Madison is said to have described this august body as "the great anchor" of government. Now we have Harry Reid and his Democrats of No.

Harry Reid is a laughing stock and a very poor example of a leader. In the real world he would fall flat on his face.
