YouTube: Kerry "Media 'has responsibility' to 'not give equal time'"

John Kerry doesn't like the Tea Party or it appears the First Amendment to our Constitution.  His problem with the Tea Party is the Tea Party is standing solidly in the way of the socialist agenda for America of the elitist Democrats.

John Kerry is the multi-millionaire Senator from Massachusetts that registered his yacht in another state to avoid the taxes in Massachusetts.  He then talks about how we need to pay our fair share.  Of course that's a different fair share than for the elitists.

In a discussion of the debt deal and the economy on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Friday, the former presidential candidate lambasted the Tea Party and conservatives and the idea that they should be given “equal time” in the media. According to him, their ideas are so wacky that they don’t deserve air time:

“And I have to tell you, I say this to you politely. The media in America has a bigger responsibility than it’s exercising today. The media has got to begin to not give equal time or equal balance to an absolutely absurd notion just because somebody asserts it or simply because somebody says something which everybody knows is not factual."

“It doesn’t deserve the same credit as a legitimate idea about what you do. And the problem is everything is put into this tit-for-tat equal battle and America is losing any sense of what’s real, of who’s accountable, of who is not accountable, of who’s real, who isn’t, who’s serious, who isn’t?”

I have to agree with Kerry that the media "has a bigger responsibility than it’s exercising today."  It's time the main stream media does its job.  It's time the main stream media reports truthfully and fully on Barack Obama and those who surround him.

Two years of running for president and two and a half years as president and the main stream media has yet to vet Obama or tell the truth about him.  Yes, the main stream media has a bigger responsibility to America than pushing the socialist agenda of Obama and the Democrats.
