Pelosi And $737 Million Dollar Green Project

Obama Administration Plays down Link

Barack Obama and his administration is furiously trying to play down links between House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and a giant new $737 million loan guarantee for a green energy project in Nevada.  Pelosi’s brother-in-law, Ronald Pelosi, is second-in-command at Pacific Corporate Group, one of the main investors in the solar-thermal Crescent Dunes project now under construction in the Nevada desert.

The Obama administration is giving the Crescent Dunes project a loan guarantee of $737 million dollars.  That is our tax money for another green energy project like Solyndra.  This time though Nancy Pelosi's brother-in-law stands to gain from our tax dollars.

Department of Energy spokesman Damien LaVera called the suggestion of cronyism “absurd” according to an article in the San Francisco Chronicle.  "Many months of rigorous technical, financial and legal due diligence was done by nonpolitical career employees to scrutinize every aspect of this transaction – over a period of years,” said LaVera.

"It was approved because it meets all the requirements of the program – helping America win the clean energy race and create entire new industries for American workers.

The deficit grows and Obama keeps paying off his contributors with our tax dollars.  We now know his administration knew Solyndra was in trouble when the loan was made.

Obama even changed the rules for Solyndra so the government wouldn't get our tax dollars back.  Obama contributors would get money first.

When will we find out Crescent Dunes project is not viable.  It will be long after Nancy Pelosi's brother-in-law gets his investment back and Obama gets a large contribution.
