Raise Taxes No Spending Cuts

First there would be NO spending cuts.  Barack Obama and the Democrats have increased federal spending by over 25%.  Spending increased by 24% in just the first two years of Obama’s reign.  There is no rational way you could argue with those spending increases in just the last few years we could not possibly start to bend the curve in the other direction. 

Our nation has been in existence for 223 years.  In just the last three of those years we have increased spending by over 25%.  And the left  is telling us we can’t cut spending?

If it were up to the harebrained left, this is what the super committee would do:

1. No spending cuts

2. Big jobs program (aka. government works projects)

3. Raising taxes on the super rich.  “It’s only fair.”

•Go back to 70% income tax rate. 

•Tax capital gains like income.

•Implement a 2% surcharge on wealth over $5 million.

4. Cut military spending and corporate welfare

Our national debt has increased approximately 40% in less than four years.  Our government under the  leadership of Barack Obama has borrowed more money that all of our presidents from George Washington to George H.W. Bush did. 

Our federal debt has now topped $15 trillion!  That represents $48,000 for every man, woman and child in the United States.  In this year alone we have spent $1.3 trillion more than we took in revenue.  Yet the left does not see this as a problem.  They want MORE government spending, because they somehow believe that government can spend money better than you can.

 You could take all of the income and all of the wealth from the evil rich, and you can take all of the profits from every Fortune 500 corporation, and you would only be able to fund our government for about eight months.

Barack Obama and the left will destroy America if they aren't stopped.  Their socialist agenda has failed yet they keep going.
